I remember when 13 rolled out many said it felt release ready (say wuuut? bug city, clunky new ui and so on...) but man this new patch feels really good so far. Skill order, elective mode is really nice and ties in well with their new set up for default skill assignment.
So thrilled to have explosive frogs now!!! Mah red bullfrogs shall attack!!!
I have no doubt some will disagree but this patch, to me, feels very polished.
Yeah, it's getting there. I'm really happy with the changes to the Frogs. They move a lot faster now, which makes them a bit more useful. They seem to head forward in a quick burst as opposed to just wandering around.
Definitely have to pay more attention to your surroundings cause when you use your defensive ability, you'd better know what you're going to do next if that doesn't work. Definitely didn't have to do that in patch 13.
Just ran a fresh Barb through the King, and loved every minute of it.
Agree patch 14 does feel good, really really good, I wouldn't mind seeing less items, it feels like overkill at the moment, just so many items all the time, and not just whites but like heaps and heaps of magics.
I wish they would have wiped all characters with Beta patch 14. I patched this morning before work to look at my monk and it felt weird not having equippable weapons and some gear because of the new level restrictions. Going to just strip them and put everything in the shared stash and start over.
I actually died after pulling a pack of skeletons, tomb guardians and those giant brute things at the same time. To me, this patch is close to perfection, at least as close as it comes (without trying the rest of the game obviously)

I can see what you see not. Vision milky, then eyes rot.
When you turn, they will be gone. Whispering their hidden song.
Then you see what cannot be. Shadows move where light should be.
Out of darkness, out of mind. Cast down into the Halls of the Blind

Oh and 4 people in a party is nice too
I also like this patch, there are a lot more monsters scattered around the maps as well, the world feels a bit less empty, and i got to level 10 on 1 play through.
Everything feels pretty good so far. Crafting (early level) took a HUGE hit. Most of my first DH's gear is not even useable anymore. I actually almost died today when a pack of "Nightmareish" elites started hammering the crap out of me.
The Demon Hunter doesn't feel as good now though. You get no AOE until lvl 11 now, and you can feel it sometimes. Not the end of the world, but a little disappointing.
I'm a bit concerned with all the "it's more challenging" posts...
The content in the beta is supposed to be the tutorial of the game, it's supposed to be super easy.
All the beta testers are longing for a good challenge and I understand that, but you have nightmare, hell and inferno for that in the final game.
If you already have to play carefully in the beta content, I'm afraid it will scare away the casual gamers that want to give the genre a try...

A QUADRILLION MAGIC FIND is worthless if you can't kill shit!
Right? To get the "get leoric to kill 15 of his own skeletons" last patch i just went afk while he wailed on me. Now? Not so much.
Looking forward to a video!
