Ok, we have patch 13 in Diablo 3 beta, we have there complete rewritten skills and runes system. So what is next step? Now, I think that everyone understand what was reason for delay in release to Q2.
Now, new system is implemented, is working and what I have read across forums it´s actually better than old system (also my opinion), so my question is what do you think is their work now?
I think that quests, story and bosses are ready, network infrastructure should be ready aswell (servers, connections etc) so what do you think is their main goals now?
Yeah, deffinitelly in-house patch is away from beta patch and true is that Skill UI is pain in most beta testers eyes, I have watches a low of commentary videos and streams and they don´t like it. But that´s the only thing regarding patch 13....
What about AH and RMAH, there was problems that should be fixed in patch 13, was it done or not? Anybody knows?
Don't forget the AH (gold and RM). They have to be damned certain that there are no bugs/exploits left to be had with their "baby" because it could be a financial nightmare. As previously stated, with the rune system released, I think that the remaining work is the item database, item stat balance, and hopefully they make the public chat channels not suck.

I really hope that the skill UI is not the final form of it. While I am OK with them changing the runes from being items to being basically sub-skills, the UI really is horrendous. It's not so much that it ruins the game, or even has a big impact on it most of the time, it's just that the old UI was vastly better, cleaner, and less confusing.. I don't really see how this could possibly be the UI for release. (I dreadfully mention... this looks a lot more like a console UI for skills...)
The next step is probably a revision of the new changes. They UI doesn't seem to be anywhere close to release-polish and the rune-changes themselves doesn't seem to be that well thought out either (too much on-rails).
And itemization maybe. We might not see that in a beta patch though.
What about Beta Arena? It has to be tested before release right?
They stated there will be no PvP in beta. For the sheer reason they are not balancing around it and because they will have 1,000,000 players complaining that their class is too weak at level 13 in PvP.
