I saw alot of gameplay footage and watched the videos but I wanna know how the co-op is really gonna be. Is it gonna be similar to D2 and everyone must participate in the quest and the one's who don't can no longer do that quest in that room? Will it be possible for low level characters to jump into random games and follow high level people around and just swoop in to snatch up good drops or will it be changed so there is no more of that? I have one more question too but this one doesn't involve multiplayer. Will the Witch Doctor's Zombie Dogs be able to kill things in modes higher than normal or will you have to change up your skills at that point because they just don't cut it anymore? If anyone can answer these for me I would greatly appreciate it.

If you do no participate in a quest or boss kill, you do basically get screwed. and have to recreate the game.
That's cool. Atleast they make all players risk their lives to get the quest done instead of sitting back and just waiting for the stronger people to do it for them. What's really the point if you don't actually play the game yourself? It's a waste of time to just let everyone else basically do it for you.
Actually, I don't think you have to actually participate in the fight (do dmg, etc.) to get experience and drops, which means being carried by someone is still possible (and they want it to work like that).
If you're saying that people won't get any benefit from coop if they don't participate in the boss battle itself (and just play before that point), I believe they will still get plenty of good loot from rares, specially considering that the developers themselves have stated that "boss runs" (and quest runs) won't be the "be all end all" way of farming good items. So, even if you don't participate in the quest/boss run, you can still get pretty good loot from killing rare enemies.
On the Witch Doctor question, I'm sure his "minions" will scale with the difficulty (hp, damage) automatically, so there's nothing to worry about that skill becoming useless in the end-game (from what we know so far).
