During one of the earlier Beta Patches, I noticed that there was a critical issue missing on the display when you open up the map.. the name of the other party members. Sure, you can hover over the little blue ball and see who is who, but this is definitely not ideal if you're in a large dungeon and someone is tell you where the next level is.
I assumed this was just something they missed that they'd add later on, but as we get closer and closer to the retail version of the game, I can't help but feel they've either overlooked this or don't feel it's something necessary to add.
I strongly feel that this is an integral part of the map especially when playing with others in a party. The benefits of adding this small feature versus the manpower it would probably take to program it is probably such a huge net gain that it's silly for them to not include this.
Anyone feel the same and notice that this was missing? Or is it just me.
It's definitely a bug. When people chat, all I see is [Party] [] says blah blah blah... Don't worry, it'll get fixed. There are tons of small bugs in Beta 13 they have to address.
I noticed in lots of places since Patch 13 that some areas bug out and just have some string of text to the effect "Text belongs here blablabla".
But since the first one that I experimented in, there were no party names on the map so I don't think that's due to a bug. It seems like they just haven't implemented it. I posted the same thing on the Battle.net forums but no one seemed to concerned about it to reply.
