I'm playing with my gf who plays wizard. However on T5 we've encountered a problem - her survival has gotten a really heavy hit. She is moving fast from all aoe however even a single tick of e.x. frozen pulse takes like 40% of her hp. She started to wonder if she's doing something wrong. During elite packs it's rare if she survives long enough to cast her whole archon. Here is her profile: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/minak-2513/hero/36706517 Any help would be much appreciated.
I'm palying cursader and I'm trying with taunts and blinds but still she dies 4x more often then I do.
Perhaps using Teleport with the Wormhole Rune instead of Familiar she can get away a little Faster along with the passive skill illusionist she should be able to get out of the midst of stuff a lot Quicker. atleast thats what i had to do to Survive T5 atleast. Maybe Swapping Glass Cannon untill her HP armor Resistances have been Increased .
You have 12mill armory toughness (15mill in game probably) while she has 5mill armory toughness (7ish in game). You both run subpar specs/gear so you don't have the damage to skimp on toughness. Either have her gear more defensively or drop drop to any easier difficulty.
I'll tell her your suggestions. As for subpar gear not much can be helped regarding of luck with drops (or rather lack of luck :P). As for specs - we are open for suggestions. Although I'm quite happy with my 1.1 mln dps in-game with limitless shield throw.
If it is affordable, roll another socket on her chestpiece. And depending on the needs, insert either an amethyst or a diamond here. Something similar goes for pants. I don't think that those 11% to shock pulse is worth that much - swap it for double socket. She can even stick topazs in here to compensate some damage loss (that will still give 44-56 all res, which will buff toughness).
As for the rest... obtaining another gloves wouldn't be a bad idea... right now 14%aoe is pretty much a wasted affix. I know, it might be not easy to get something like that, but int-vit-cc-ias gloves will do wonders. Same for shoulders. RCR is not really needed for archont, so it might be not a bad idea to get shoulders with int-vit-armor/allres-cdr.
Other than that... I'm a hardcore player, not to mention I run an entirely different build. Plus, even though I do have 1.25 millions profile damage in-game (just below 2 millions elemental) and 15.5 / 20 millions toughness WITHOUT force armor, I don't go higher than T3 ever. Thus I'm not really sure I'm qualified to give more advices here...

Catch 22, gear makes specs. Crusaders usually go holy shotgun or darklight (super lag) build with ahkan 6 set, wizards are usually wand of woh or mirrorball with vyr 4 set for both.
