I was just day dreaming a moment ago, and came up with the idea of a 5, probably 6 pc set allowing you to dual wield wands. I'm not sure if the idea has ever been proposed, but it sounded like a massively game changing set to me. Totally wishful thinking, but i could only imagine how fun that wizard would be to play!
Just my random idea, anyone else have their dream set?
Everytime I watch Lord of the Rings and see Gandalf it gets me thinking of D3. Why not wield a staff with a 1 handed sword or wand? That would be full of awesomeness.
I was actually thinking about something different.... Tentatively this set is named "the Mantle of Storms"
1st partial: +250 int, your storm armor now strikes twice as often
2nd partial: Storm armor gains effects of all runes (visuals are either random, or currently-equipped rune)
full set: Storm armor is now a part of you, you can equip another armor spell
As the result, you gain a powerful auto-attack + %weapon damage based "thorns", your critical hits strike nearby enemies, you get flat 3 AP cost reduction and you get movement speed buff on being hit... And on top of that you can use prismatic / pin-point barrier.
The idea for a set that allows wielding staff + source could be quite alright too...
2handers in general need to be fixed... no one uses them unless they are making a new character and don't have anything else It goes for all classes really minus DH.
Just my random idea, anyone else have their dream set?
Does part of the effect also involve doubling all spells we shoot? (at reduced damage ofcourse).
ow yeah.. triple hydra!
