Someone knows if the builds will change a bit with the new patch?
Builds, gear, lots of things will change. There's only little you can do to prepare though - that's why I added a (small) section about preparation for 2.1. TL;DR version is to keep Firebird's and don't rush enchanting a weapon.
Hi there . i got a question , since 2.1.0 is here so firebird is good to use. i recently got tal , vyr and firebird set. and got the ring of royal grandeur i cant decide which build i should use and i tried to combine vyr and firebird.Appereantly it is impossiable to get all bonusses of both sets at the same time. So help me out please
You can't get Firebird's and Vyr's combined... and Firebird's is the way to go in 2.1.
That being said, I'm deeply sorry but I have totally lost interest in the wizard class right now as I find the playstyle absolutely boring and contrary to everything that a wizard is supposed to be in my book - as such I have no complete overview of the 2.1 wizard and will not update the guide in the near future (i.e., until there's something more than "put down Hydra and run around like a headless chicken").
This is the gearing up thread and it is completely valid for other specs, it is not the Fire Kiting build thread (also not all firebird wizards play blizzard / hydra boring kiting spec).
This thread has not been updated for 2.1 yet. First of all because I'm not playing wizard anymore (I might come back at some point, and update the thread then), but more importantly the wizard right now is a one-way street in endgame. The gearing advice in this thread might still be viable to players who do not seek for the absolute endgame cookie cutter spec. For a thread that explains almost everything about the Firebird wizard in 2.1, check Jaetch's Fire Wizard 101.

It is still very helpful for new Wizards. Thanks.

My suggestion would be section 5 ;-)

I noticed that you have not included steady strikers on the bracer list. It is a pretty powerful bracer since you can get Ele DMG, IAS and CC.
