This is my "Freezard" frost support build designed for co-op play in Torment difficult level 3 or above.
Main Objective: Keep the Mobs frozen/slowed as often as you can for the rest of the group to burn down.
Useful for: Co-op play that benefits any class in your group
- Monk/barb won't have to run around chasing mobs with addition benefit from significant damage reduction due to frozen mobs
- Wiz/DH/WD will enjoy the ability to stand still and burn mobs down without being chased around
Skill/Rune break down: - Magic missile: Glacial Spike (1s freeze every 5s interval for enemies hit with it) -Rune is irreplaceable - Blizzard: Frozen Solid (40% chance to freeze for 1.5s) - Rune is irreplaceable - Familiar: Icicles (35% chance to freeze for 1s) - Rune is irreplaceable - Magic Weapon: Force Weapon (20% more dps) - Ice Armor: Chilling Aura (80% slow) or Ice Reflect (40% chance to create frost nova if hit) - Your choice -Interchangeableslot: i chose frost hydra for this last slot to assist the group with some DPS. But you can also change it to frost nova for additional CC or teleport for flexibility.
Play style: Basically you want to staybehindas far as you can spamming blizzard covering all the mobs in the area slow/freezing them. Then spam magicmissile to regen arcane power + freeze them more. Also, if you choose frost hydra, try to position it in the middle of the frozen mobs. Let your team do the rest and watch them appreciate your presence.
Gears: +Frost damage pieces, +blizzard damage class skill. More info about specific pieces to be updated ...
