First of all: the cooldown reduction paragon trait still isn't fixed don't put your points in that.
Also, it seems like they did not fix the shield generation runes (although they nerfed Dominance) - so it's still just kiting on Torment 1 @level 70. Monsters seem to hit a bit harder, although some affixes have been nerfed (see patch log).
There's a lot of new neat display changes: items now show which stat has been enchanted, legendary crafting material shows which legendary item can be crafted with it. A change which is especially useful for us wizards: spells now show the school of magic as a small background banner and it's also written beneath the spell! Quite handy.
Thanks! Yeah, not really happy about that change. To be honest, it's a definite no-go in every UI design book: don't create a modal dialog unless user input is required. Not sure why they did this... just a non-modal popup or even a chat log message would've cut it.
Teleport no longer seems to get you over Waller walls.
Edit: Or at least it seems to be buggy. My Hardcore Wiz is getting over some while my Softcore wiz didn't seem to be able to make it over any. (Not that I think Hard vs Soft matters at all).
Not surprised to see it nerfed heavily. it was ridiculously powerful at 12. Prodigy seems to be garbage. If it restored AP on any damage spell, it would be much more enticing, but not overpowered.
I read all your replies and our team took another good look at Magic Weapon based on the info you provided. There were a few issues active in the current Beta/PTR version of the game (that mostly line up with what you all have reported here), but all of these issues have since been resolved internally and you should see these fixes present in the next Beta/PTR patch.
Yay! Looks like shield generators should finally work once the next patch hits. Can't wait. Finally some more Torment action coming soon.
^It was always 3 ap per hit. Thats how it was on the last patch. I've been using that skill since the ptr came out.
I'm honestly not sure how I came up with 12 AP. I think I was adding up the total number of hits or something, but even then it's still wrong ;-) Thanks for the correction.
What's wrong with Deflection right now?
So, what changes have you observed? Besides the official ones - patch notes here:http://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/12383899/new-patch-for-201-ptr-and-closed-beta-now-available-1-16-2014

Posted in the PTR thread but another visual change, not really related to Wizards (All classes have those new visuals for type of damage too!)
for when you complete a bounty.
