Hey so I recently got quite a bit of gold (100m) thanks to a super lucky drop, and I'm not entirely certain what areas of gear I should upgrade on my archon wizard.
Here is my char, http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Dreathean-1251/hero/28127036
I was thinking that I should get inna's temp with int so i could get some nice rare bracers with good crit, int, and all resist without losing movement speed and without spending all of the gold on lacunis with crit.
Otherwise I'm not really certain what the best step is; most of my stuff is fairly adequate/average, and I was thinking that I should probably get a much higher dps wep or something, which would prob cost most of my gold.
Thanks in advance for you help (Yes I have looked at other posts and guides, but it's still difficult to know exactly what I need to upgrade at the point that I'm at and really don't want to make any stupid mistakes).
Change your weapon. The holy damage on your dagger renders the bonuses on Triumvirate null. Though with 100M, you probably won't be able to find a high DPS weapon with life steal, crit damage and a socket. Try your luck, though.
You're certainly on the right track. All you need to do is follow the stats you have and basically up the intel, up the vitality, up the resistance, up the armor, up the crit chance, crit damage, attack speed, and so on and so forth.
Try the weapon first, then focus on your armor pieces (crit damage on jewelry and higher on gloves would help a lot).
First, I'd replace your weapon with a black weapon (i.e., all physical weapon with no elemental damage bonus). Your trimuvirate bonus damage only applies to physical damage so you're missing out on quite a bit of bonus damage. The best value on weapons is to find socket+Life Steal, and neglect extra crit in place of higher weapon dps. I honestly wouldn't spent more than 10mil or so on a weapon, and would aim for a wand or sword with around 1000-1100 dps. The prices go up exponentially around 1k so your extra gold is probably best spent on other slots.
Inna's pants would be good for dps, as would Tal chest and neck. Zuni boots are also the top dps boots, if you have an all physical weapon. A zuni ring to go with the boots might be a decent idea, but to get one with IAS or crit will cost a lot and may not be worthwhile. The main downside to the Inna's pants and Tal chest is loss of defensive stats. A tal's neck might only be a sidegrade since you have a neck with IAS and crit, though they come with vit standard so you'd gain a little extra hp to make up for the loss from your pants. Finally, The Witching Hour belt could add a fair dps increase also, but for the price, I would say look at that last. They are getting cheaper though.
Also, while looking at potential upgrades, I highly recommend using some sort of DPS calculator or spreadsheet, especially when looking at weapons. I recommend the one in these threads because I wrote it myself for that purpose, but there are plenty of other calculators or spreadsheets around the web that should work fine.
When filling out the information, what do I do if for instance the automatic dps calculator isn't automatically calculating it?
Edit: Like I filled out all of the information and got the overall stats to pretty much be identical with my stuff on diablo, but I think when I was deleting the previous information for the compared wep slot on the dps difference, it's not re-calculating the stuff.
Are you using the spreadsheet in these forums? If so I'm not sure what you mean. For the item comparison tab, if you entered all the information in the Equipped Items tab, you don't have to fill out that tab, you just enter information of items you want to look at and it tells you how it compares to your equipped item. As a check, put your equipped item in the slot and the dps difference should be 0 and the resulting EHP should be the same as the value on the far right side of the page used for reference (which is the EHP of your currently equipped items).
Yeah I am using yours. It had previous information in there and I think I may have screwed it up somehow when I deleted that information. Maybe I somehow deleted a trigger or something stupid. Bleh
Might be best to just redownload it or something. Remember, only enter information in the purple boxes. The other boxes should be left alone. The green boxes should match your char sheet, the blue boxes are useful information, and the black boxes are just the sumarized results.

Run a spreadsheet and figure out which piece will give you the highest DPS/EHP upgrade per gold spent. We have one right here: http://www.diablofans.com/topic/47182-dps-and-ehp-spreadsheet/
