So I have been looking through the forums for the last few days and searching and such.
Is there a specific way we should be playing? i.e. any specific number of Energy Twisters before spamming diamondskin/EB/frost nova? or is it just an all out button mash?
Kinda curious if there is a "max amount" of ET's that can be hitting at one time or anything like that.
I just button mash. WW on left mouse button and I hold it down the whole time while mashing 123 (EB, FN, DS) repeatedly.
If there's a max number of twisters, I don't know about it, but I don't think there is aside from a casting speed standpoint (i.e., at 1 attack per second you can only have 6 out at a time since they last 6s and you cast 1 per sec, at 2 APS you can only have 12, etc.). As long as the mob is in range of the twister, all of the ones out should be able to hit any given target.
After playing Diablo games for 16 years, I'm not afraid of this anymore. My wrists can handle that. Heck, I have no idea how I even survived Diablo: Hellfire with my monk and his King's Staff of Haste. 3.8 attacks per second and there was no "holding left mouse button down" thing like in D2/D3 - you had to click for every single attack :-)
That is kind of what I had come up with as well. And I do have to agree, between all the diablo's, and starcraft's I have pretty much passed carpal tunnel
