Hi, I'm a casual player with very limited time for this game. Been playing since release on a wizard the whole time and have FINALLY just now made it to Diablo on Inferno.
Been using same spec more or less since Act II-inferno. Used venom hydra to 1.0.4, now arcane. Switch back and forth force vs prismatic armor, but have found force necessary at my gear level in Act 4. Unbuffed DPS 54K (20% higher on most targets due to Cold Blooded), 38K HP, 5.4K armor, resists low-mid 400s (force armor)/high 500s (prismatic). (Sorry not enough posts to link profile.)
I don't play this game to farm, make money, etc. Nor will I spend money at the RMAH. I just want to kill Diablo on inferno, then I'll prolly roll a new class, rinse repeat. (Yes, it will probably take almost four months again, lol. Busy, busy IRL)
Anyhow, I would appreciate expert advice on the easiest way (spec/strategy) for me to down the big guy so I can move on and try a new class. Can I do it now without having to farm more gear/gold?
Have you tried him yet? I think with your stats you should be able to kill him. Just keep away from any edges to prevent him from teleport punching you. You should be able to survive a couple hits from him which makes the fight pretty forgiving since it's just a survival fight.
Also, keep Force Armor for the fight and use Venom hydra since it has a higher single target dps.
My spec:
-shock pulse-piercing
-arcane hydra
-Blizzard-stark
-diamond skin-crystal
-energy armor-force
-teleport-fracture
-glass cannon, cold blooded, illusionist
