i prolly could if i switched the gem in the helm to life% instead of xp% tho i prefer act 3 over act 4 some of the mob types in act 4 just make me mad in general
Funnily enough all i did to my Wicked Wind build was swap my 100% crit gem out for a 600 LOH on the wand. Suddenly my nerfed wicked wind is nearly as strong as it was before.

- 64k dps
- 901 loh
- 300% crit damage
New stats
52k dps
1501 LOH
200% crit damage
The loh is much better then the extra dps in all aspects now for this build.
I started with the normal WW/CM build but noticed big problems with AP and CDs on only 1 mob (See Unique once minions die)
Switched in Evocation and a Source and it was just like 1.04 never happened (for AP and CDs)
The only problem was health regen was rather slow, but it was only a problem in situations with elite groups that can get through diamond skin in the <.5 sec that they get past the nova-locking (as they did pre 1.04 as well)
41% crit (56 with Nova buff), 12k DPS, 800 res, 36k HP, 700 LoH
10k armor, 17 APoC w/shield, 7.3k, 27 without, all with buffs and Enchantress
Tried the Storm Chaser build above, the CM/AP was just like pre 1.04 with ~5 "stacks" of WW on the target, but it seemed to kill much slower than WW/EB for both groups and solo, but for a trade off for a bit more reliable nova/diamond skins
Didnt like it
Timing was hard to get the hang of even by the end of the run. When I try to release my charges, it generally leads to elites outside Nova-lock longer than usual, and I didnt see to much benefit from casting Shock pulse (DPS wise)
Might try a different rune for ET and/or Time Bomb for EB for my next A1/Whimsy Farm run
cleared whole act 3 and pony lvl and it allows you to do mf swap very easily
the playstyle is quite simple, just throw mines on the ground when you walk and hydra does the rest, it's a kiting build
with temporal flux and arcane mines, mobs are 60% movement slowed and 30% attack speed slowed all the time
give a try and lemme know how you feel it
I can see that working well on the pony level where everything is melee, but how well does it work when you hit a pack of rares at the start of a cave/dungeon and there isn't much room to kite? or what about on ranged mobs?
Storm chaser lets you spam diamond shards which is one of the highest dps abilities you can use really. It's a better trade off to get better defensive gear and use this than waste multiple skill slots on nova, teleport, or any other defensive ability.
