I came across this thing and having only played melee builds in Inferno that use 1-handers, I don't know the real value of it. Do true ranged builds prefer loh, a socket for more crit, or just a 1600+ blue for raw damage? I don't know the high-end market very well (or even the upper middle, for that matter) so I'm at a loss as to how much I should list it for.
Yeah, I did, and it's hard to get a read on what it's worth because the only weapons with similar stats are only ~1k dps and range anywhere from 2m-70m.
Honestly, that has every stat that a Wizard is looking for. Maybe not the highest possible, but they're all there. I'd say easily 20mil, but don't set a buy out. Let people bid on it, cuz it will go up.
It is a 2h so remember its off setting a faster 1h and off hand. I would say its about 2m-5m or worth a similar well speced 1h that is about 900 dps with the same stats.
If a wizard goes for a 2 hander it's all about high dmg, which means usually 2-h maces with .9 swing speed are the best.
That being said it's a slight negative that the crit dmg is on there instead of a socket and the int roll is a bit low.
Given all of that I'd set it around 2mil if you want it to sell in your lifetime since 2hander wizard isn't the most popular playstyle.
Any help appraising this is really appreciated.
I'd say starting bid between 5 and 8mil, and either no buyout or a rather high buyout, like 25mil. When it's a good item, people are gonna bid.
