I decided to share my kitting builds for all of you to enjoy (hopefully).
My main concern was to be able to always run without turning back (if possible) and still do quite a lot of damage. As I want to always run I don't care to much about slowing mobs down, though I still care a little.

I like your idea behind those builds.
For the first i would replace Hydras Runestone to Alabaster, to get an Arcane Hydra.
Also i would change your Conflag Passive to Temporal Flux.
This was you can slow your enemies with your Hydra, and your Arcane Mines
I'd give you the same advice for your second Build
The third Build i really like, especially the Magic Weapon+Runestone.
It's nice to read you like it. I was considering arcane hydra and temporal flux but I don't exactly know if and how much I will have to slow down the mobs in inferno when I always run from them (or run around some blocks). I think about laying some arcane mines first and then explosive blast. It is possible that arcane mines slow effect (30%) will be good enough for explosive blast 2.5 sec delay to trigger just on time for slowed down mob to get hit. But if mobs are very fast then I could try to replace one passive with temporal flux so I can get about 60% slow down from mines (if this is possible). This should be slow enough. I would go with arcane hydra but it don't believe that arcane balls will be fast enough to catch mobs before they move from line of fire. With fire wall hydra I hope to catch a lot of mobs in fire and with conflagration passive to even do some dmg to them. Also if you keep fire hydra you will do 4 types of damage, fire, arcane, lighting and physical so even mobs which are resistant to one type of dmg will be hit with 3 other types (maybe in this case fire is not needed but extra 15% of damage to all attacks is not bad without magic weapon). Anyway I think I will do some tweaks to this build when I get the game. Btw, it may be a boring build for two first difficulties but later on it may prove a good choice when trying to go through a higher content which is normally very difficult with more offensive type of build before you get content viable gear ofc.
The Problem is that the Monsters on Hell and Inferno will have way higher movement speed to close the gaps, and catch up onto the player. A Firewall hydra will prolly not be able to deal high amounts of damage.
Yes it is very possible indeed. That's why I still may go with your idea of using arcane hydra and(/or) temporal flux. I just need to wait and see if they are fast enough to catch me in my speedy gear
Also I plan to use enchantress with skills - disorient, power armor, scorched earth, mass hex. But this applies only when I don't play in group ofc.
Well, also a good idea for Damage and Kiting ability would be using the Meteor Spell, with an Obsidian Runestone.
With it you deal alot of damage, and for 3sec there will be a cold mist that slows enemies by 60% and deals some damage over time.
Yes but the area of effect is not that great and you obviously have to run and meteor requires staying in place for animation length which is I think about 1.5 sec. If area was larger or I could spam them all the time then it would be perfect with that slow down. But I assume that enemies are to fast for me to stay in place for even a sec and that I don't have that much of arcane power. In easier areas or if I have a better gear I will switch to offensive skills or half offensive/half defensive (I consider meteor with obsidian rune one of them).
As you see, all depends on how each of us imagine peace of game on inferno level vs our gear. But we could try to make some build which has so much arcane power and slow down that we could spam meteor all the time. It would be probably more fun than this one, though it is still fun to happily running while mobs are killed on mines. But you need to know your way in labyrinth and hope not to meet melee teleport able champions. Oh, I can't wait to play.

Wouldn't look good for diablo 3 customization options
