If was a bug fix when Increase Atk Speed rise the damage a lot more then intended, why this fix "nerf"so much the damage?
My gargantua before patch was hitting 400mil with Big Bad Vodoo buff, now just 80mil? Everything without Harington belt.
Something is wrong here?
And i can see the other classes having "pets" better then Witch doctors.
Barbarian, Anciants. (my friends pets can hit 20mil, was 10mil before patch)
Arcanist, Hydras. (seens bugged now, but will be double damage or more)
Demon Hunters, infinity sentinels.
We WDS have just a couple of Fetichs who dies like flys. An gangantua HUGE nerfed now. And dogs who needs a Tall man fingers (realy rare) to do something.
Can someone please test if Garry is receiving Bonus damage from IAS and other things? Or explain how can i test.

Perhaps they fixed the thing were Gargs were double dipping in BBV. Maybe that's what they meant in the attack speed fix note, or it's just a completely different thing and they fixed both.
I think it was in the big pet thread on official US WD forums that I saw garg's 'snapshot' mechanic mentioned.
Depending on how exactly that snapshot was taken (e.g. was suggested that your aspd was factored in when calculating garg 'weapon damage'), it's not hard to see why BBV'd gargs seem puny by comparison now.
e.g. suppose snapshot captured the BBV double-dip for both aspd and damage: 1.3 * 1.3 * 1.2 * 1.2. That's already 2.4x. It's also been suggested that garg had a bug where it incorporated your aspd into your weapon damage (rather than just taking weapon damage and using your aspd *as* aspd) - that could be another 30-50%.
Rough hand-wavy numbers, but just to give an idea where that magnitude of an effect could come from. Track down that pet mechanics thread if you want more info.
Definitely a sad change - wrathful protector used to be a pretty fun button to hit. Now... less so.

A bug who multiply the damage for something around 4x, and was not fixed before? Weird.
Is about blizzard we are talking about, so everything is possible.
