I've just recently started playing D3 again after giving up on my monk about a year back. Couldn't get past act 2.
I'm new to inferno and all them farming spots and such, but managed to scrape together some gear. Right now I'm working on a Hellfire Ring, farming the keys on MP5. I'm comfortable with the build I'm using, though I'm not sure about whether to use JFortitude or Gruesome Feast.
What I'm wondering is what would my next gear piece be? But also where should I be farming, what routes?
I'm thinking about changing from Skorn, instead picking up Manajuma's Carving Knife and a TotD instead. What kind of price am I looking at for the Skorn I've got? Could it fund the 1h+mojo setup with relatively little damage loss?
first of all kudos regarding your defensive mindset, don't see that often with new players!
even though you like your build, there are more efficient ones (you can find a few things to play with here). while WDs have a lot more options than other classes, in your case I think you should at least switch 1-2 attack skills for something else useful.
as far as gear is concerned a life steal skorn is quite viable for all builds and MPs. but if you want to go the pick up range route (meaning: using the passives that you're using right now), you need to stack it a bit more. the other option of course is 1h + frog, but apart from the pick up range it doesn't give you much atm. mojo essentially means getting more stat points and especially vit, but you're not short on life and 5% life steal is great so I right now I'd stick with the skorn.
as far as upgrades go I can't really help because it depends on the MP level you're aiming for and of course on your budget. for high MPs you need a lot more all resist and armor, whereas for low-mid MPs you can go all out DPS. generally, though, you want to avoid attack speed a little bit, otherwise mana consumption becomes a problem on higher MPs. rather you should look for int, crit chance and crit hit dmg instead to raise your DPS (gloves, amu, rings). like I said if you want to go up in MPs you also need higher all resist. as a benchmark MP10 capable mitigation requires something like 800 AR and 4000 armor (my personal opinion, others would likely say less).
