Im trying to make a build which could solo low mp (1-3) inferno without crit gear. The reason is simple, good survival gear with crit is too expensive for me. After having a pause from Diablo for like half a year i found out im simply broke.
So, as everything HC, gear has to have survival stats, leaving only a little space for dps values, and for reasons already stated, i have to pass crit. Which leaves me only with IAS and int.
Now, int is a no brainer, so lets focus on IAS.
IAS is much cheaper (and worse, i know, dont comment about that) than crit, but only few skills benefit from it.
Being IASbased makes certain skills, like zombie bears and even acid clouds, very bad. After experimenting with every nuker abilities and thinking it through, i came out only with few combos:
1) Splinters + Explosive Toads - both are very efficient when fast spamming, having basicaly no mana feed frees me from using mana regen gear.
2) Rain of Toads + Spirit Barrage mana regen on hit - Using barrage only to nuke down bosses and high hp targets, mana leech rune makes it quite cheap spell for long time casting. Rain of toads does small aoe, working moderately well against groups.
3) Flash Fire / Fire Bomb + Grasp (any rune) - slow it and bomb it. Again, no mana feeds.
4) Spiders + Pyrogeist - No mana feed, atacks behind corner, no need to aim.
I played Freeze Doctor for a while (in SC), therefore, I used Rain of Toads (RoT) a lot (with lots of IAS and pierce the veil). You don't need any mana regen if you don't use other mana consuming spells.
Also Life on Hit is awesome with RoT.
If you add a mana consuming spell, it will start to cost some mana. If your dps is high enough for your desired mp and you kill monsters without consuming too much, you can keep Pierce the Veil. If you can't, you can switch to some "mana passive". Gruesome Feast can be awesome if you have the Thing of the Deep.
Your other utility spells look just fine (gargantuan is good for low mp) !
PS : I hope your area is not affected by the floods
Oh dont get me wrong, im not newbie, solo beated inferno before the nerf patches and none of my paragon-leveled chars died so far (true, im not above 35).
Tried freezing, had too low dps with Azurewrath :/ So sold it for 10 times its initial value and moved on...
Hmm, interesting... i always thought (and read and heard everywhere) that fetish sycophants are total crap of a skill :/ Dogs and garg are VERY nice tanks and dps boost for budget gear and build, i would avoid getting rid of them if i could... Also, i pretty much doesnt have space for them, Spirit Vessel is a must, jungle fortitude is godly and imo both blood ritual and pierce the veil is better than fetishes.
Maybe giving only main atack spells combo sugestion for now before we hagle into deeper problematics of build? But ill surely try out fetishes.

Make sure to try Ghostbomb, Roll the Bones and Flashfire and decide which one you like best.
Grasp of the Dead can be changed out with anything if you feel like you have enough survival. Skills that would do well with this build would be Acid Cloud, Stalker, Zombie Wall, Hex, Bombie Bears.
Just go for as much +Max/Average damage equip as you can, and as much Intel as possible. Don't forget about your defensive stats, but it should really cheap to get defensive stats without having CC/CD also.
Get a 2 handed weapon(preferably doomhammer) with as much damage and int as you can. You can skip crit damage, ias, crit chance on all gear. What your trying to focus on is making your minimum/base damage per hit as high as possible. Though you wont be seeing like millions of crits, when your normal base hit does 100k+ you can roll mp1-3 pretty decently
The equip for this should be exceedingly cheap, and you could prob get pretty good survivability also.
Since you are going for high attacks per seconds and physical realm skills, using Fetish Sycophantswill benefit you. You will spawn an army of tiny fetishes that will tank and distract. They might be better than using up two actionbar slots for gargantuan and zombie dogs.
This is good advice.
I've tried this in the past and i gotta say it's pretty cool. I did use gargantuan along with the fetish psychos though.
I'm a newbie WD so I'd like to ask in relation to the topic...is The Gidbinn nice to have for a Fetish Psychophants build?
Never tried it, but it should only really be viable if you get one with high base dps (850-900+) and a socket. Put a ruby in there and see all that Attackspeed% work wonders on your sheet dps.
Even without focusing on Crit. Gloves can have attackspeed and crit-chance, so there's no reason to let that pass. Rings and Amulets can have high Average Damage and Attackspeed, but if you can't get high values of those, there's no reason to not get some crit on them as well (or maybe survivability, LoH, AllRes).

Rest is for pure survival with budget gear http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#..UXYT!a.e!..cYba
missing passive either blood ritual or pierce the veil with no mana dependant atacks
Any sugestions for me?

My stats http://www.diablopro...Mortis/19239798 (its not up to date, but you get the idea).
My problem is im already sick of using acid clouds with ias, so trying to find other combo...
P.S: and no, my area is not affected, but rest of country is :/
