I know there's a few of these out there now from Projaxs and TurkNukem but here is my variation/take on Acid Cloud Paragon farming:


I explain it pretty thoroughly what's going on in the vid so I won't type much here. I call them out in the video but I will take the time here to say thanks to other WD board members for inspiration and conversation:

Aerialus because he keeps coming up with different rune/skill combinations that are making a very positive difference -- if he keeps it up, I'll start hoping for 9 skill slots in an expansion

TurkNukem because he made me start looking at Acid Cloud crit items

Projaxs because he keeps the Acid Cloud conversation going . . . which brings more people to it . . . which brings more ideas . . . which helps fine tune the spec for more and more efficiency.

Yeah, the more I've done both (upping the sample size to see if I wasn't just getting skewed results) the more the two runs come together. My route is definitely the longer of the two but, as you've note, variation keeps things at least a little more interesting.

Thanks, Zhaph! The statistics on that definitely were out there. So, now when you have farmed the same key warden on MP6 10 times straight with no key drops, you don't have to ask where your drops are . . . the Goblin has them

I was wondering about the skorn as well. I am getting ready to upgrade my weapon, and was thinking of going to a manajuma's carving knife (well, actually just a 1 handed weapon with LIfesteal and crit damage) to go with my thing of the deep. But now I am curious if I should switch to a skorn instead. My overall goal is to farm MP 2 with an acid rain build as I have a barb that can do MP6 uber runs.
Anyway, if I go with a manajuma, it's gonna cost like 30 million, but if I go with a skorn I have to get pickup radius on 3 pices of gear. So really just wondering what is more effective.

Also, random question, but does anyone know how the bonus EXP when you kill groups of monsters quickly? Is that bonus EXP just how much you get, or is it per monster killed in the streaK?

Good videos. You mentioned it breifly but when you have three dogs, new ones still spawn and replace the old ones, giving more health globes? If so ill have to try it out.

Yeah, that's the way the Final Gift rune on Zombie Dogs functions wihen it interacts with the Circle of Life passive. I don't know if it's intended or not but it definitely works that way.

New update with Acid Chicken variation -- seems to be equally effective and has been a fun change of pace . . .
