Wouldn't Sacrifice make more sense if you could explode each dog individually as you hover your mouse over one? from the beta they have all the dogs exploding at once which in my belief it reduces the depth and the utility of the spell which in turn takes away a lot of the viability.
Personally I feel it's something that is fine the way it is. Why you'd want to just sacrifice one is beyond me, having to do it individually just makes it a hassle whenever most people are going to just want to do it all at once to maximize damage. Summoning all of them over again is a minor inconvenience, but that's what you get when you go down that play style.
When a zombie dog is about to die and the other two are at full health wouldn't you just want to sacrifice the one that's about to die so the other could still do damage/take damage. the ZD are on a 60s CD which means you would be without dogs for that time.
Is it really that hard to press a button 3times over once?
The only possible way I could see using sacrifice they way it is now is if you had full control of which mob they were attacking but as it stands they just attack which ever. This could result in your dogs being split up and not exploding on the mob you'd like it to.

Agreed. Individual clicking allows for more strategy and skill.

Terrible idea. Why would you want to blow them up one at a time? Monitoring the health of your dogs is just annoying, and there is no effective way to do it in game that I know of. Maybe show nameplates, but thats an optional feature.
Also what is the point? 200% weapon dmg is nothing extraordinary. its only worth doing because you are able to do a massive amount of dmg and regain a lot of mana/health. Then you resummon them.

"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"
It used to make a lot of sense that they all got blown up at once because if you look at the way that Next of Kin and the other runes function, it added what I thought would be a really fun RNG element to the Witch Doctor.
Of course now Sacrifice seems a lot worse since the nerfs and it's no longer a top level WD build in my opinion (without having played the game of course).
Making them blow up one at a time takes away this fun RNG element to some extent. But since the Next of Kin percentage is so low already, it could possibly make the class better to have them explode one at a time. It would likely make the skill more boring though.
One of the biggest issues with Sacrifice at the moment I think has to do with Mass Confusion. If Mass Confusion is a charm spell which doesn't allow you to attack enemies, it's going to be really lame. Getting 4 dogs back from Big Bad Voodoo isn't such a big deal because you have 20sec and the area of effect is really large. But Mass Confusion is more important because you can cast it twice as much. So depending how Mass Confusion works, will determine how good Sacrifice is.
There are other problems with it as well of course. But if Mass Confusion is bad I don't see why anyone would try to use Sacrifice.

Did they change it to simplify the spell?
What are your thoughts?
