Sweet build, similar to my all poison bomber I made but didn't save. Gotta love watching the zombies fall one by one in front of you seconds after casting
I'm thinking if you combine the Hex and Mass Confusion +dam% then it would really ramp up the damage of 4 exploding dogs. The Gargantuan is there to keep any other mobs/boss busy whilst I re-summon the dogs and Firebomb seems to be the most fun damage skill, or the one that appeals to me the most.
I'm still playing around with the build and this will no doubt change in an hour or so
Oh snap, that is one hell of a build, I quite like what you've done, seems a little similar to a body explosion build for necro (which isn't a bad thing). I can just imagine mobs going crazy fighting each other, your big guy taking on the ones not confused and then your dogs exploding and respawning everywhere!
I tried to create a summon type build without zombie dogs.
Basically, haunt is my main attack, and almost the only spell that costs mana. I added a gargantuan to soak damage and take most of the punishment. Then, Soul Harvest is to deal with swarms, and Mass Confusion is for when I'm overwhelmed. Fetish Army will be my main summon spell to deal with tough enemies and some groups. While Big Bad Voodoo will be reserved for big fights.
My runes are all about damage. And the passives are all about keeping the damage going constantly without taking any breaks.

actually a golden would do better since you can summon more zombie dogs if fighting just one monster
