Blizzard recently fixed a bug which was allowing pets to receive an extra 20% attack speed? from Big Bad Voodoo on top of the regular buff. How long this bug has been present I have no idea.
My question....
Did Blizzard take into account the presence of this bug when they did the recent round of set tunings, which are in the SAME patch notes?
I mean, if they tested and tuned with the bug still PRESENT, then they have just indirectly nerfed the crap out of any pet build that uses BBV.
The reason I'm worried about this is that I was watching some streams (Jmac etc) and anecdotally it was suggested that helltooth 'felt' weaker and it was attributed to the BBV bug fix.
Yes I understand all the buffs, they are well documented. That being said, there was also a bug fix.
Did the testing take into account that the bug was to be removed though is my question, given that removal of said bug was going to be a very significant DPS decrease?
I'm hoping the answer to this is yes.

Surely Blizzard wouldn't be so short sighted?
