Hey guys, today I briefly go over the caster variation of the Helltooth set. I'm hesitant to call it a build since it was thrown together in anticipation of a PTR reset, but you can get an idea of how it works. I believe this variation will be used more for speed farming while the Gargantuan will tackle high greater rifts. Enjoy & discuss!
Wd´s looking pretty neat in 2.3, its seems like a pretty good speedfarming build..but not use gogok for cdr? makes faster wall of death spawning?.
Seem like fun anyway
But as u say, Garg dmg its the fun part for me if i go a wd in s4
Honestly I dunno, I didn't mess with it too much. I thought PTR was about to be reset at the time (maintenance) so I wanted to get something out real quick before losing all the gear. At this point I'm switching over to Monk to test what that's all about, so WD testing is likely done for now, unless PTR goes for another 2-3 weeks.
Just to make sure, Jeram's Bracers are NOT neccessary. Casting WoD refreshes all stacks and the cooldown is lower than the buff duration, so it's entirely possible to go for something different. The only reason to use the bracers is - like you said - to cover an area that is as big as possible.
True, hadn't thought of that. I guess it would just be annoying to have to build up 3 stacks initially, then worry about them dropping off if you're not paying attention and have to rebuild all 3 again. This is especially evident when running the pet Garg version which has a lot of rotations to deal with as-is, meaning it's likely you'll forget to refresh your stack. It's a quality of life thing I suppose.
I was actually doing pretty well without them in GR56+. But as it seems, the next patch will cement Jeram's as the go-to bracers anyways.
You think so? Set bonus is changing and removing the stack, so you'd only use the bracers for some additional damage and CC. It's a 900% boost now after a single cast, for 15 seconds.
