First of all, wait a few more days for the patch to go live. The new items will make WD a lot stronger.
I'm not a WD expert, but I can give you some general tips (non build related):
If you need damage, roll of vit from your weapon into 10% damage, huged dps boost.
Try to get ancient items. Crafted slots are the best start: craft ancient shoulders, chest and bracers with the right stats. In general, people don't go for life per second, maybe look for a better alternative on shoulders and chest.
Legendary gems are strong. While the lightning amulet might be good, I would never use one with socket. Either go for other amu, or roll socket on. Not sure if legendary gem will still outperform 100%crit damage however.
As said ealier, ancient items are needed. If you don't have a witching hour (belt), look into fleeting strap as a replacement for your current one. Craft for an ancient with good stats. It will probably outperform the little elite damage.
Try to get max CC rolls on helm and gloves. They have a limited range to roll, should not be too hard.
Try to get pants with 2 sockets. Again a bit boost, both damage and toughness (10int=1all res).
Ice climbers give a huge "paper toughness", but that's mainly against cold. Try to get any ancient boots for boost in dps and effective toughness. Maybe even consider cains pants+boots, to gain the attackspeed bonus.
Getting another (ancient) offhand with 10 crit chance and a vit roll, is better for damage, and probably close to survivability.
For follower, I personally prefer templar for healing and stun, but all are fine.
Put "proc items" and attackspeed on them if you don't care about their damage (there are guides to get the most out of them for damage).
For enchantress, look for overwhelming desire amulet (act 3 bounties). A lot of new nice items are coming for followers are well in next patch
Remember: try to craft ancient in every slot you can, max out your rerolls (espacially the easy ones like crit chance), try to kill them before they kill you (you can drop a bit of toughness for dps in most cases), and happy farming!
Drop posion damage unless your going for darts. Full zuni set. aug bracers and shouiders Blackthorne pants and belt until the new patch. Hellfire amulet and royal ring. All physical if your going to use the tall man with leeching beast.

Hello everyone!
I have been stuck at around grift 35 and people who saw my gear told me I can reach much
higher tiers...so apparently I'm doing something wrong.
So what can I improve about my items, follower? and should I change the build maybe? been trying poison pets..
