I believe that the single % damage for gargantuan/zombie dogs/fetish army for witch doctor should be changed and accommodated to % damage for all pets as that will at least open up for more % skill damage in the mojo, chest and shoulder pieces and buff all the pet damage instead of choosing which pet one would want to consider buffing to. It will strengthen all the pet damage and synergize with the new zuni bonus set.
If DH can have % damage for all companions, why not the WD have the % damage for all pets?
DH have sentries and we don't can we have sentry? And our fetish look kinda bad I prefer the wolf from the DH and the buff is better anyway can I get that too?
2 different class, 2 diffirent design.
@sadospawn I agree that their dps is not very good and fetish dies like fly at higher GR but looking at other class and copy pasting skills/ability is stupid
Looking at a class to fix an other is what made wow a piece of crap where no class feels really different if his point was WD's pet needs a way to deal more dps and survive longer I would agree but his post was about how to make the WD mechanic work like the DH's and THAT IS CRAP
No matter how retarded it sounds, i'm just stating an example between DH % damage for all companions and an idea of the WD % damage for all pets damage as we've all known that DH companions are there for the buffs and passives and the WD pets for the damage output.
The mara set revolves around sentries and companions but the companions are there not for the damage most of the time but for their buffs and passives. So why do some of the set pieces have the % damage for all companions when one does not revolve around that most of the time instead one would buff % damage for sentries?
Instead, they could replace that % damage for all companions to other % skill damage that matters the most. This is just a proposal idea.
Instead, the WD has a build that revolves around pets solely. So i'm just suggesting if there's any possibility that % damage for all pets could be discussed upon and whether this % damage for all pets could be way too OP or not.
Isn't this issue addressed with the Enforcer Gem? If they made the requested change, this seems like it would not be retroactive. Besides pets don't work the same as DH. Sacrifice is a good example. It actually requires 2 skills or 1 with a mojo.
If we're talking about item attributes then there are separate attributes for companion and sentry damage.

I was referring to the fact that WD has different % damage for different pets such as % damage for gargantuan or zombie dogs or fetish army. I was trying to discussed if % damage for all pets could be implemented and bring the damage on a different scale.
The comparison between the DH and the WD was just an example.

I agree about the ways of making the WD pets dealing more damage through the suggested idea but never did i mention or made this topic about how to make the WD mechanic work like the DH.
And what mechanics are you talking about? is it between the WD pets and the DH companions or something that i'm missing?
Suggest to the dh community that they play with the dr restrictions wd has, also suggest that sentries have the same health pools and the same durability.
They'll tell you that would make the class not viable for higher gr levels and they'd be right. So, knowing that and knowing that tiki fear doesn't stop all affixes (nor should it) how is it ok for wd's to be stuck with a particular set of out of date mechanics while other classes are not? Not saying "nerf everything to be as bad/worse than wd pet dps builds" what I'm saying is fix the pet builds.
WD pets make up a large part of the damage a pet WD does, most of the actions a pet wd performs revolve around keeping the pets alive, buffing the pets, and making sure that you're spawning passive pets if you are talented that way.
Someone at Blizz shit the bed hard with that Zuni set. One look at that 6pc bonus...trash.

The % damage for all pets was just an idea but WD does not have to be revolved around only pets build. This idea is just for people who enjoy pets build more without having to choose which pets they should buff. This could be possible or not though.
And i agree about the 6pcs bonus for the zuni set but time will only tell if they can come out with a better one
@Possuminator Ok let's say that they buff pets across the board.
Why would you use zombie dogs with anything else than a pet build?
Why would you try to put a gargantum with the new ring that buff it in any build other than the pet build since all your pet will be buffed anyway why not play all the pets then?
Don t you think that it kinda kill the creativity of building an hybrid build that might be fun and effective?
I think it's an easy solution and it brings kinda nothing on the board. You want every skill to be unique and usefull.
I like the idea to buff one pet over an other but actually WD pet build is so bad that we feel that they need to buff all the pet to make it ok but it s not really a good way to do it because it kills the unique side of a skill that way almost every skill in ur bar is just an other pet and it's there because.. well it s a pet.

I was just using the T-DPS model as an example, one style uses sac:PtP for a fairly good but very short damage boost etc. Either way won't really matter too much, Blizzard has no idea how to handle WD's after the hoopla in the summer with Jade/MOJ. Too bad that in a free to play game they still feel the need to cater to the communities they do, whilst spitting on other communities.
How should zuni look though? Ring slot-gone. 2 set could be a reduction on cd of all skills when pets attack/or a % damage mod for every pet you have out, plus area damage for pets. 4 set could be pets no longer die, and you take a reduced% of damage for every pet out. 6 set could be Spender/generator use summons a fetish sicophant, cap is same as the passive and either utility or a damage modifier.
It's not really hard to make a game fun, it is hard to shuck and jive and convince people they are having fun. This is why Blizz spends 3 months and a whole weekend at Blizzcon apologizing to the D3 community though. Again they aren't apologizing to every class in the community, and in fact are keeping some classes happy by keeping others under wraps.
