Stunning an enemy releases lightning at all nearby enemies for 3000% weapon damage. Your dashing strike now stuns the last enemy it hits.
This change would accomplish a few things. It would shift the play style away from dashing strike spam, making dashing strike completely optional. It would increase monk survivability by putting more focus on stunning which would help push into higher torments and greater rifts. And it would open up build diversity, bringing LTK: scorpion sting and Epiphany: Ascendance on to the table as viable build options, and synergizes with the new relentless assault. It also wouldn't be overpowered on bosses because of diminishing returns that stuns suffer on them. The damage output would be very comparable to wizards with firebird sets, except instead of putting up a dot, you would actively try to keep the damage coming. It also fits in to the philosphy that monks bring utility by bringing a focus on stuns.
a 1 second cooldown on the explosion could stop it from being OP. Not 1 second cooldown per stun per mob, but 1 second cooldown per damage proc. It'd then cap at 3000% damage / second if you were able to stun that frequently.
I think it'd be better to simply link it to the ability rather than how many mobs are hit. That way, 1 LTK for example will result in 1 activation, regardless of how many mobs you hit.
