The Monk above. Id recommend preparing to loose the shield and dual wield. Renew neck/rings/glove and make sure they got both crit and crit dmg, if you budget can afford it.
dat dex. :3, you sure you need that much life steal, though? + Only thing I could recommend would be getting more movement speed to up your farm speed : p, ( 9/10)
Drop the life steal and life on hit and get 1 or 2 items with pickup radius, then u can replace the items with life steal such as ur weapons with much higher damage ones. the thing is, above 55k dps unbuffed u dont need life on hit or life steal as monk, just pickup radius. Get some more dex/crit chance and ur dps will skyrocket, maybe 2set innas for extra 130 dex. Inna's Legs gives a lot of dps and 12% runspeed!!! might want a head with a socket for the xp gem and life % in general :), but thats optional seeing u prolly spent some gold on andariels visage u prolly wanna use that for a while. I am just used to roll with 0 life steal and 0 life on hit, i one shot everything and healthglobes are everywhere and they heal me for more than life on hit would
Your looking good, I would ask why you don't have a red gem in your helm for the XPs? Or perhaps your just not in a hurry to paragon level. Overall really good - I'm working towards duel wielding rather than playing with a shield, but my current shield is such a massive stat stick its hard to give up, plus I like having MF on it.
Main thing I wan't / need is a new weapon with high +Crit Damage!
Here's my monk...I took a month of but now am trying to get back into it, any suggestions appreciated.
I am currently stuck in Act 3 unable to farm it efficently.
@Zorg, you're a tricky one. I dont understand how you downed Diablo with your stats haha, but for improvement I'd go looking for some crit chance on the rings and helm (3,3,4), and try get that 200+ dex on gloves. That should get you over the 30k DPS mark. More resist will always help, but I reckon with your high HP you're probably ok. One thing to think about however - less HP but more resist (so that your eHP stays the same) will make all your heals more powerful.
Well, Zorgmeister, I am a casual player and I haven't done much farming and may not have much to show. But, I've done quite well at bidding items. I never had more than 2 million in my account, except recently I started to do some trading to earn my first 10 million.
As for my monk, all are crappy rare items bid from AH for maximum 1.5 million a piece, except my sword which I acquired yesterday at 4M. The worth of the items is much more than I put in, as some items with excellet attributes I got them really cheap. As a matter of fact, AH can improve your knowledge on items and possibly game play as well.
In fact, I don't know how to create the hero page as you guy did, my shame. Can you help?
About 40k DPS with shield or 48k DPS DW with enchantress.
My strategy is to use life steal and 15k+ bonus healing from globes. A3 is easy so far, I just have finished it yet. Any advice on improving dps would greatly appreciated. Also, none of my items cost more than 300k except the spear which was 500k. The fist weapon was 50k lol. Cheers!
Try aim for a bit more armour you want at least 7k armour / 700 resists for that soft cap 70% dmg reduction then after that you can start working on your damage. Dont bother getting resists on rings/neck since they are mega expensive and over priced >_> specially ones with IAS and crit. Get some LOH with IAS / Crit on your neck for more damage / survivability, again weapons with loh/crit dmg and socket cost a ton ! When I say soft cap it means you need a lot of resists for that extra 1% dmg reduction i.e after 700 you need 100 more for 1% which is not worth it as long as your close its fine.
would appreciate any tips/advice, just restarted the game so have very limited budget.. still experimenting with build (dualwield, offhand with high LoH or 1h + shield.. currently rolling shield)

This really sucks, imo. I liked the resistance model of D2 much better, where you get to 75 and you know that you are gtg.
With this, you can have 700 or 1400, and it makes only a slight difference.
If anyone can take a look at my gear and see what I am missing. I know right now that I am missing a bit of crit chance/attack speed but those items are extremely expensive at the moment. As for loh I don't really care about it and will be swapping to lifesteal around 60k dps anyways.

General comments: I found that I can survive well without LoH or Life Steal at around 52k DPS, 600 Res and ~45k life. So, along those lines, your resistances are good, but life is low (and understanding you have the XP gem in your helm). Based on MY experience here's my thoughts:
First piece I would do is try to get more dex and some vitality on your bracers and keep at least 4 Crit damage, and drop double resists here.
Next I would get look at getting a set of shoulders with some vitailty or life % as well, and it would probably be ok to drop 10-20 total resist there as well.
I've had really good luck swapping out my rings form Crit Dmg to Crit Chance + High Bonus damange + Dex. With 1.0.4 they increased the bonus damage range on rings and amulets so the higher range roles (for example 30-60 damage) actually compete decently with CC+CD or CC+IAS. So i would go for Crit Chance+High Bonus Damage + Dex+Resist (and if you get lucky you could also get Vitality or Life % here as well).
Last general comment: Try to get a slot (maybe shoulders or belt) with + Pickup Radius, which is necessary as you go away from LoH and Life Steal.
Wasn't able to down Gohm solo a few days ago but I upgraded a few pieces since then. Hopefully I should be more efficient in A3 but any help is appreciated (can't really farm it efficiently enough). Don't know if I should go for LoH/LL for more survivability or more DPS instead, and if so which route; more crit dmg or attack speed... I also have an OH but it's slow and boosts my DPS by only about 6.5k but I feel I'm too squishy without the shield.
As for the above me, you've got a starting monk on a n ice way to a better level. Weapons will need sockets and slowly start buffind the crit hit, crit chance and dex while staying at 600 or so resisst and above 32k (sounds good with you life on hit).
I have the same problem with LOH, and you might want to get a socket on your helm, to bump paragon progression. Depends how much you want to push paragon,

The andariels actually dropped for me yesterday. Not too decided about keeping it yet

Any help is appreciated. Disregard the Life % gem in the helm. I was curious how much health I would have with it in.
Overall, I feel like I've done pretty well gearing him. The most I've paid for an item so far it 5 mil and that was for the amulet.
its epic.... I love using it. I can tell a big diff with the added 28% dam increase

You have better gear than I do. Some slight changes for massive upgrade:
Yet your CC is relatively low, you can simply added some CC to your brace and amulet, 9-10%.
Upgrade the gem of your dagger to 80 or 90%.
Find a boot with pickup radius along with some additional dex.
Your DPS will up by about 10k and you should have good life sustain element to farm A3 fairly easily.

Yours is really cool. With 24k DPS, you rely heavily on the 1000+ LOH to clear the game.
That's is possible if you're always on the move, but it may not be good enough to farm A3.
My items are similar to yours but maybe one notch better except the amulet as I don't have any set or legendary.
