So i started playing again recently and have been experimenting with all these cool legendaries 1 handers. I wanted to know what is considered "good" and what you guys think about all of them.
the ones in question are
Butchers Sickle: I like the pull/stun and it comes with lifesteal and crit hit damage.(I think it a 2 second stun?? with 20-25% chance)
Fist of Az'Tarrasq: This is loaded with stats like attack speed spirit regen high dex and 5% chance to stun.
off the bat beween these two i am wondering if the stun is stronger on the fist but higher chance on the sickle?
Another thing i was testing was shenlongs fists
I like them alot becuase between the two you get high LOH with high life per spirit (mine is like 50 so its almost as much as the monk passive). the proc is decent as it procs straight line life steal and crit and it procs alot, but in my eyes it seems like just having another torando... but the fact that they are 2 fists i get high attack speed.
The next one is Echoing fury: I have noticed alot of high level monks seem to favor this. can someone explain how the fear plays out (or if its worth it). Also how does the attack speed modifier work?
These are the few I have tested if any body wants to discuss other items or anything about these. I am looking for lots of feedback. Thanks guys!
Oh, and yeah... Mainhand weapon should have the most dmg, offhand weapons' dps doesn't matter
Don't spread bullshit, offhand dps DOES matter.
Anyway, I'm using a Won Khim Lau and echoing fury right now, the added lightning damage on the WKL affects all of your damage so try to get one with 25-30% combined.
Echoing fury because the "+0.2x" attacks per second also affect your other weapon making even 1.2speed weapons attack really fast.
I've got a Butcher's Sickle equipped and an EF in my stash so I will test out the combination and see. Based on the proc rate I am seeing with the Sickle and how often I saw stuff running away with the EF, I don't think the Sickle will offset the EF but hopefully I am wrong. It doesn't seem to me that it really procs 25% of the time so I think there is a cooldown on it.
So Butcher's Sickle most likely has a cooldown as far as my testing shows. I used a Sickle with a 23% proc rate. At 1.30 ATS it would proc around every 10 seconds, sometimes as often as every 5 seconds. When I sped up to 2.31 ATS (not dual wielding), it would proc every 5 to 10 seconds, usually leaning towards the 5 second mark. It seemed to proc around 4 seconds every once in awhile, but this might have just been a counting error. While dual wielding at 2.31 ATS, it had about the same proc rate.
So I believe Butcher's Sickle probably has a cooldown. Maybe 2 or 3 seconds? Someone with higher ATS could help me with this.
What I was really interested in was whether the Sickle's proc affected both hands attacks when dual wielding, because of the way it's worded "23% chance to drag enemies to you when attacking." I tested at 2.31 ATS dual wielding, and singe handed to see if there was any noticable difference and as far as I can tell it seems the same. So I think the proc might apply to both attacks.
Also for the range classes who think it might be a dangerous weapon to use, or melee characters who think the drag would be useless because enemies would just run away after, the Sickle's drag affect also STUNS the enemy for a few seconds. It's pretty cool.
