Also, try getting a main-hand that's a combination of both your Butcher's Sickle and Echoing Fury. While 61M might not be able to nab one outright, you'd be surprised to find snipe-able deals once in a while.
But the boots. Do get something better with higher dex and vitality.
You should be steam rolling mp5 with your gear. My girlfriend has only slightly better gear (littlebit-1106) and she runs mp7 and mp8 solo for keys, and 6 for MF farming.
My biggest suggestion is of course boots, but I would shoot for some more all resist and armor, and a weapon with around 800 LoH, 1k dps and an open socket to replace the buthcer's.
Nat's boots + nat's ring would be a big upgrade in dps for you, i think. Especially if you get a nice ring.
There's a bunch of rearranging you can do to get much better for 60m.
Gloves are stupid cheap right now. I couldn't believe the price i was seeing for 9cc, 30+ CD with 100+ dex and high rolls of double res. Like 1-2m for some pairs. That's a simple upgrade.
But I'd look for different bracers with some CC. IAS is the last thing you want to add (after CC and CD). I think lacuni's with AR will sell for enough to replace with better rares with double res, vit, dex and 5cc. Worthwhile Lacuni's are 100M++ and not worth it until end game.
To replace movement speed from lacuni's, it might be time to consider going for nat's combo. I paid 50m boots and 46m for my ring this last weekend. You can get a much cheaper nat's ring without CD and boots with lower vita if you can afford to lose the vitality.
Your helm is also very replaceable for an inna's with double res and much more dex. Extra res on the helm means you can drop it elsewhere. Do not be afraid to drop to lower res for higher dps. I run with 474 All Res. The life steal on your weapons will balance life lost from less mitigation. EHP calculators will not tell you this. Don't be afraid to drop res if you're killing things faster and have leach. You need just enough to not get 1 shot and tolerate reflect.
Your belt is an ideal place to drop res for a nice double dex roll (150+ dex) for pretty cheap (~10m). Ride with that until you can replace it with a double dex/vita version.

Upgraded boot and ring to nat's boots I'm not sure about the LOH weapon though. From my understanding LOH is no where near as good as life-steal soon when you get over the 100k dps mark (witch I am). With as high as my crit is now (nearing 50%) with 400%+ CD I'm hitting like a semi wielding two semi's and often seeing hits over 200k but even 100k hits would be getting me 3000 health back per, not to mention the LS is ticking off of my aoe from cyclone (I think going to test this). Maybe I'm understanding it wrong but that's what I have observed.
I have followed a few things and actually got four items upgraded that has shot my survival and dps way way up and I didn't even get a weapon, I spent only 55mil and a nat's boots and nat's ring and some way better bracers, and an upgraded inna's head.
I'm going to be looking at getting some better gloves and then saving up for an awesome weapon but it's going to be a while before that happens. Is there a particular pair of gloves I should be looking at? Or just some with a bunch of dex, crit and CD?
Remember that in inferno, Life steal is reduced by 80%, so on a 100k hit, you only leech 100,000*.03*.2= 600 life on hit. And remember, that is only on crits, with some 375 crit dmg. So 60% of the time, you are really leeching for about 30000*.03*.2 = 180 life per hit.
I have personally found with my gf (she is a rather casual gamer, not a min/maxer like me) that she has far more reliable survivability with 1300 LoH + 2.8% life steal than she did with 5.7% life steal alone.
You wont get the huge spikes of life you get with massive crits and high life steal, but you may notice a more consistent replenishment.
Also, you might want to look into a won khim. They are pricey, around 75-100m for a high dps with high life steal/LoH/CD, but the dmg boost is pretty spectacular. Also, they dont do that insanely fkin obnoxious fear that EF does. I had to get rid of mine right after I bought it.

Not sure about your math here.
100,000 NON-Crit.
500,000 crit hits (400% CD) (also assuming 45% CC)
(100,000 (normal hits) + (500,000 * 0.45 (chance to crit)) / 2 (average damage)
162,500 total average damage.
975 per hit with 3% LS and 1950 per hit with 6% (what I run with on higher MP)
Just did a screen shot to see the numbers (normally have turned off to keep screen clear). My strike out is a bit off but close.
So while yes some LOH would be good and I agree it's nice little regen, it is not something I'm going to swap around a bunch of my gear for. Besides LS scales better because it gets better with the more damage and gear you get
It scales with your DPS (an upgrade to DPS, is an upgrade to survival).
LoH helps for health link reflect packs which can reflect more than you steal, but LoH is nowhere near as useful as LS.
I tick for 12-15k heals on a single target during ubers. When I pop seven sided strike, I guarnteed fill my health pool. I used to run with 2.9 LS and 800LoH EF. Switch to skorn and relfect problems were a thing of the past.
It's not that LoH is a bad stat, but I would never shop for it. Especially with monks where half our DPS does not proc it.
Just my opinion, based on extensive testing. Also, getting > 5% LS on dual wield is going to be extremely expensive or hinder the weapon selection. That's why I skorn. 75m for 300dex, 270CD, 1k base dmg (which winds and cyclones proc from), balck dmg (your % holy from inna's belt scales from), and it consumes far less spirit during tempest rush. Oh crap, forgot to mention.. 5% LS. I really hate the fact it's so functional because it feels slow and not as fun as dual wielding, but it's amazing bang for the buck. Would be > 500m for two handers.
RE: WKL, there's a 25% bonus to thunder skills. 25% on top of 600dmg is 750dmg. Base dmg on skorn is 1000. Not to mention again you can't get CD and LS on a WKL, and either CD or LS on a decent WKL with socket will run you 150m++++(as in up to 500m). Also it consumes a lot of spirit for tempest rush, which I live by, except for mp8+ ubers where I use a combination strike and deadly reach to get an extra 32% dmg buff.

To run skorn don't I need like a ton of IAS to make that work?
To run skorn don't I need like a ton of IAS to make that work?
Just the opposite. Tempest rush drains spirit based on your APS, so lower APS means less spirit drain. I have IAS on gloves, bracers and one ring, but the 1.24 APS i'm at now is far less than the 2.4 APS i was at with my Fist+EF. Even though I had 2 spirit regen on my first, I can Temest Rush much further.
This is strictly for a tempest rush build but I use that all the time for farming. I outrun ww barbs with this spec, and have 0 regen from gear other than .33 from inna's set bonus.

I will have to try this out when I get some extra gold.
tempest rush (with a skorn) is used to kill mp0 as fast as possible. since you are not looking for that, dont spend gold there. it requires special equipment to do this (a lot of spirit regen, preferably 4set bonus) and btw, lifesteal is way more useful for you - but it's also much more expensive. sneaking in some LoH on a ring or amulet is rather easy - whereas a lifesteal weapon will cost you ~5x more (just guessing based on experience)
Yeah I got a 4set inna's already so I'm good there. I wouldn't mind doing a TR build a bit later when I got the money to spend on a really good skorn but for now it's not a big deal.
Late to the party here, but looks like gems for your Inna's set could be in order.
re: LS vs LoH... I've seen that at around 80k dps is when LS begins to pay off. A week or two, I was only at around 60-70k and picked up ~800 LoH Shenlongs and it made a HUGE difference in my survivability.

I also have an echoing fury that I swap in my MH when I don't need as much life-steal
the EF: 1198.9 DPS, +152dex, crit damage 60%
I want to be able to roll though MP2+ (i can roll mp0 and sort of mp1 right now), but also be able to get into like mp6/7 without sweating too much.
<3's you all.
