After playing over 90 hours of Wizard I had hit a wall. Laborious and death-filled runs would yield nothing but trash. Upon rolling Monk and employing the usual cookie-cutter build, I am finally finding and selling things in the '1 million gold' area at a rapid pace, with only 30 hours and far less-expensive gear invested into it.
Cheers to you, Monk. You render at least some other classes inefficient by comparison.
I've played my wizard since launch, haven't really tried any other classes. After going splat too many times and just not having fun anymore I decided to level a monk. Good. God. I'm having so much fun now! Im ripping through Alkaizers route faster and with fewer deaths than my wiz. Mad giggles all the way.
My conclusion is that it all comes down to playstyle. The wiz just wasn't my cup of tea, just too bad it took me so long to find out (not to mention all that gold "wasted").
For some reason, when I saw Diablo 3 and saw the classes, I just thought : Barbarian ..na boring as hell probably......WD? interesting but maybe as an alt....Wizard ? Na got sick of him from D2.....DH? U yes this looks bad ass .....HOLY F*$*@(# DAT MONK pUnchES !!! ok this one !
