1) Do you run with that much MF all the time? or do you just wear it when you are about to kill an elite/champion pack/boss?
2) Is there a big difference if you wear MF while doing normal mobs? Do they drop Rare if you do?
3) Is there a difference if in a 4-party team, only 1 or 2 or 3 wears MF gear? Is there a benefit in your drop rate if others wear MF gear?
In short, will my drops be better if I run siegebreaker with my 3x friends who have 300MF gear each than if I run it solo with my own 300MF?
4) Is there a table or chart that classifies or categorized MF? Like from 0%-40%MF= 1%increase chance to drop rare, 40%-80%=2% chance drop rate, 80%-120%=3% chance drop rate, etc etc
Or would you see a benefir from drop rate chance even if you increase the MF value by 1
It only increases the quantity of yellow items, not the quality of it.
This is true in a sense. Magic Find does not make more items drop, nor does it really increase the quality of existing items.
All it does is increase the chance that the rarity of an item will instead be a higher rarity item. Magic could become Rare, Rare can become Legendary, etc.
It won't make 12 items drop instead of 10. It won't make an item roll 100 of a stat instead of 90. These are random, and unaffected by anything save the guaranteed 2 drops you get with 5 stacks of Nephalem Valor.
so why do i hear or read in forums that someone is inviting other players to go farming but requires them to have xxxx amount of MF.
Isn't MF independent of each player or does a player's MF influence the outcom of the other player as well?

In groups, MF & GF are averaged out.
So if player 1 has 0% Magic find, and player 2 has 350% magic find, in a group, they each have 175%. Or if you have 4 players, 25%, 0%, 150%, 40%, then each has 53.75%.
So for runs, the runner will often demand the other person has good MF to either a) not drag their drops down, or allow them to switch to a full DPS setup and low MF and still have good MF.
Another question though, does it matter if i farm act 1/2/3/4 alone (with 200MF gear plus 5 stacks) or would the drops be better if i farm them with 3 other guys (group of 4), all with MF gear of say 200? (having the same average of 200MF plus the 5stacks)
Its just i farm all day long and get lousy drops while when i ask people who got 1000+dps weapons how they got it, they always say that they were in a group of either 3 or 4 with all MF gears worn.
Is the drop rate better in a group setting or it doesnt matter?
It's not better. It's just that you have four people getting drops instead of one. Each person still gets the same loot they would get if they were solo, but throughout the entire group you're getting four times the amount of loot if you have four people.
