Trying to come up with a AoE dps/heal build for the group of friends I am rolling with as we progress the difficulties but haven't come up with anything solid yet. Was hoping for some inputs but have a few questions regarding this playstyle.
2h or DW for weapon? I know I won't be spamming mindlessly with my abilities but wanting to do good amount of damage along with healing to help out.
Stats would I still go Dex/Vit with a lean towards Dex or will I need to invest in another stat?
LoL. Guardian's Path is also somewhat lackluster I've noticed at this point. That may just be because in Hell, zombies can wreck face I've resorted to a shield.
I prefer FIst over Crippling simply due to the bonus Spirit Gen with 1h/shield or DW. Staff so far just feels too slow even if the potential spirit gen is huge. Sweeping wind kept up with a barb or someone else who can vortex enemies in is hugely effective. Serenity rune can be changed to the group affect if you don't need the 4 extra seconds
I think my build is about as balanced as possible. Reasonable aoe with wind, quick burst and immunity from Seven and Serenity. For bosses and super tough groups Ill switch to Fist of Thunder with lighting flash for survivability. IMO monk passives are amazing for defense, the others haven't seen much use.
Hi guys.
How can i pick up 2x defensive skills like in urs builds?
I'm at work and blanking on the name - but while in game go to the Gameplay Options and click the last box in the bottom right. It allows you to fully customize your skill selections. It's turned off by default, most likely because new players could potentially stack all spirit consuming skills without realizing.

It is called "Elective Mode".
