New rainment seems fun with the pants that upgrade pour generator dmg. I like a bit less the 6p but could deal with it. (Need more regen and the fist that refund charge may need an update)
About new inna: Inna + sunwuko + crudest boot = WTF OMFG! or am I wrong? (If they don't change the actual datamined effect, which could be a good idea considering how good it sound )
This is a interesting topic, I know that these are buffs for monks. What I like to add in is that hopefully the 6pce set for innas is boots because of how we rely on sunwoko's to actually deal damage and even tzo krins for ranged attacks. If they did it other than boots, I feel like the damage output for monks especially 40+ is going to be worse. So it makes sense to balance out as two mystic allies who deal 6pce bonuses on innas would be a bit overpowered.
Good changes so far with monks, I'm happy that blizzard is making steps in the right direction.
Inna gets new boots (there are no Inna gloves as somebody said above - but maybe Tasker and Theo could work wonders if you can't combine it efficiently with Sunwuko anymore), also 2 piece effect already gives 2 Mystic Ally (not sure if Crudest boots would still give you 3-4 Mystic Allies in that case):
So far, Sunwuko 6 piece bonus is unknown, and I'm kinda afraid the 500% damage bonus will move to the 6 piece (still currently SWK 4 piece + Inna 6 piece bonus is possible). Sunwuko gets Chest armor and pants BTW.
Seems it will be good to have an Ancient Inna Daibo around for set combinations, xD.
In regard to the OP about the raiment 6pc, I believe there is a huge reason behind it and its actually pretty good if what I think is right. Basically it makes dashing strike a 5000% damage spirit spender. Now the reason that is good is if its a spender, it should benefit from a very forgotten passive, mythic rhythm. Yeah that 5000% damage dashing strike just got even more insane. And with very high IAS you should be able to use it every second or 2.
@ shapookua. Yes but your missing the mythic rhythm part, after every 3 attacks with a spirit generator it boosts your next spirit spenders damage by 40%, which if I remember correctly is multiplicive making it now a 7000% weapon damage . Before it wasn't worth using the generators (or spender in the case of swk pre 2.1.2) but with the very high IAS possible with raiment and the 500% damage increase, plus depth diggers. It might be worth using.
Also I was referring to the OP (original poster) not the 5000% being OP, but it will be good
"Is it known how the 500% generator buff works with the 100% buff from pants? is it additive or multiplicative?"
Not sure yet honestly.
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying for sure how good it will be, but I'm not discounting it either. Yes using generators before was a DPs loss, but 500% damage and 25% ias is huge. And you can still use a 2 hander, in fact what I'm picturing in my head ATM is a flying dragon. Litteraly I'm pretty sure you will get the 3 stack in under a second with that and the right set up, but I haven't had the chance to get on ptr (plus I may have deleted my raiment set now that I tink of it).
Also waiting to see what happens with SWK though, I'm pretty certain the 4 PC bonus will get moved to 6 and the new passive will be 4, but if not that and in as will be pretty hard the beat by anything.

Not sure yet as things might change but the description states that Passive Effect of Mystic Ally is increased by 100%, it doesn't say anything about another ally. Increased effect would be 8 Spirit Regen in case of Air Ally rune instead of 4 spirit, not another ally.
I also hope Taskers won't be viable for this build, it would suck to make some kind of pet monk, not mentioning the droprate of those.
Since they use the skills when you do and they have mediocre base damage contribution your own stats will be more important barring significant change to ally damage values.
I believe all 4 but i will need to check later. Also wanted to add a friend worked with the rainment set last night and was seeing 60-120m crits per attack.
Just tested something spectacular with Inna's 6 piece and Wuko's 4 piece. If you cast Exploding Palm, the Mystic Ally will cast palm where they are standing, but it will hit whomever gets hit by the clone boom from Wuko. I was able to apply EP through closed doors, around corners, and on the other side of the screen.
guys SWK gonna be changed, blizzard allready stated that they will add new pieces and stuff for all the 4 sets.
Ofcourse blizzard doesnt make that u can do like 1-2 bil dmg for a spammeble ability, that would make every other class non existing, everyone gonna be rollling monk then
FYI saders in the next patch are doing 1-2B shield bashes self buffed with mediocre gear. Some well geared and grouped ones are doing 15B+
Im still liking flurrywuko with 5% crit and using obsidian ring and broken pormises, in good gear thats 80 to 90m ticks and 14b explosions, along with perma seren, im gonna test to see if TR spends resource three times per cycle, becuase if it does that means you only need about 35% cdr, and you have 100% uptime (with a reasonable lag window)
I really can't wait to know what will the SWK 6P going to be.
I really do think that the 4P is powerfull already. So what will we have? After a few thinking, I can't possibly see a straight DPS buff (like this skill will do more dmg, or you get x% more dmg if you cast that.)
I see either a buff on surviving or an utility (like our EP got a larger AoE or smtg like that)

yeah, these patches are awesome for monks

just to update this, the innas two peice does double with crudest so 40% damage or 16 sps. DD stacks additive with the 2 peice rainments
Does the 2-piece effect only your chosen mantra or all 4 when you have the 4-piece?

In the end,the perma serenity build will get somehow nerfed same way perm smoke screen got nerfed for DHs.
While it is fun,the fact that you are immortal is a gamebreaking issue and it can very well lead to monks getting nerfed dmg wise.
They are already "nerfing" skills that provide perma immunities. More on :

Obviously you don't like DS.
Still nothing on SWK's 6P? Or did I missed something?
I don't even remember Bli² giving a clue about what it could be.
Damage looks great, playstyle? not so much (imo)
