By sick you mean god damn awful? Because you know, dd ss and stuff but all mara bonuses are about spenders so it would be pretty pointless. Yes it is still spender.
It's best in slot. DId some testing yesterday and the advantage of kridershot is while you are spamming elemental arrow to rebuild your hatred, your sentries also fire it. Sentries wont fire your generators. The 2 piece bonus gives you 40% additional damage per sentry. If you have 5 sentries, thats 200% additional damage elemental arrows fired by all 5 sentries.
It definetly is not considered a hatred generator so it will not get the bonusdamage that generators get from having sentries out. The cold/fire build is no longer viable. There simply is no reason to play a multi element build. Krider shot is good but immolation arrow + MfD: mortal enemy will give you the same result. Im actually thinking balefire caster is BIS
Did you even go on PTR to check the changes? EA gets the benefit of the 40% dmg for each sentry out, plus like Ras mentioned while you spam EA your sentries are pumping it out also. so yeah baelfire is def not BiS, Krider is back and works great with the new M6 changes

I was stunned when I tried the trial, it popped up at GR 42, lol
Now we can choose many ways to build item Magefist, Frostburn, Pride's Fall, Cindercoat, etc
I just threw together a kridershot/frostburn set and tried it out, previous best, GR 37, first try on PTR, GR 43 completed.
There is definitely some weird interaction between our 2 set and kridershot, i was seeing frostarrow crits of well over 100m regularly.
That being said, the damage reduction from mobs above GR 26 is -very- noticable, normaly i would have been oneshot regularly at such a high GR, now i could actually take a few hits, balance wise i guess it makes sense since we cant perma smoke screen now anymore and we actually have to stay in range and actively shoot at stuff with the change to our set.

Pretty sure that's what they want. A very rare item that makes your build even better, Jsut like the SMK or WOW.
As it currently stands, there are many alternatives that are very competetive with the Kridershot vraiation. So in essense, everyone with full M6 can run an efficient setup but those with the Kridershot will be able to pull ahead. Again, just like the situation with the SMK and zdps / pet WD for an example.
I jsut wish that they made the serpent sparker better and more rare. then it would actually mean something. Adding one hydra is a joke in relation to stuff like the SMK bonus or whatever.
ye serpent sparker lost interest due to hydra nerfs, but maybe there will be someting even better for hydra users/lovers.
about dh+EA+krider well .. hm, so now it's more like spamming EA and setting up every x sec a new sentry? hm ..
also kind of wondering if we can make something of the new SWK .. would love to see nice and useful changes to 7SdStrike, but i'm losing hope .. maybe the new bracers + madstone + FoAzz would create some trick ..? hm

I would consider that quite weird seeing as how kridershot has never before changed EA to a generator when using items such as depth diggers, i get how it's working, i just cant imagine it's intended for EA to double dip from 2 set bonuses like that.
Not to mention the weirdness of other skills, i'm easily getting 150-200m clusterarrow crits, on live those are more in the range of 30-40m.
Also... anyone else noticed we are getting crazy ammounts of gold from trial rifts? A GR 44 key just granted me well over 2b gold.

It does not change EA to a generator. Krider shot just lets you generate from it. The set bonuses apply to EA as it clearly states.
No weirdness with other skills. Do you not understand the math? You effectively get 300% bonus damage with 5 sentries out as its currently implemented, thats a 4x multiplier. If you did 40m crits like you stated before, that should put you at 160m crits with the multiplier which is inline with what you're seeing.
I don't play PTR, but I would assume when using the Krider the style of gameplay will now have to change from periodically dropping a sentry and running to max distance and just vaulting around, to dumping all your sentry charges asap then using some kind of movement stagger of EA, reposition, EA, repostion to stay mobile to dodge projectiles until you have your hatred back then dump it all into either your CA or MS depending on the density of the monsters onscreen?
It was too much to give sentries +100% so they will remove that in next ptr patch and give us +100% per sentry instead of 40%.
I could even see why. Using kridershot, you could just plant 5 sentries at elite / RG and run around wall and hide and just shoot at wall and let sentries do the job AGAIN even if you are 200% stronger, so with this upcoming change, you deal the same amount of dmg as all your sentries combined and that is crazy

Max trial stone: lvl51 (close to 52 several times)
Max GR achieved: 49 (very close to finish GR51)
