tbh, i'm not really that disappointed right now. If the set makes us more proactive, i'm all up for it. I'm just worried about the performance. If it drops us too much because generally we can't even afford to just stand still, let alone fire a skill or two.
Frozen, jailer, ts and reflect. All 4 prevent us from taking the time to take a shot at 35+. If they want us to stand still they may wanna rethink the life leech and loh nerfs they introduced previously. Life steal isnt there and loh wont proc more than 1 time per sec even if your using a spell with 100% proc rate (proc rates on loh were a terrible idea btw let alone the icd).
I really liked having all my pets up. Looks like their nerfing things that occur server side so they can put less d3 threads and more wow threads on a server.
Lightball/nightstalker build kills the server. This reminds me of the intial ias nerf on gear because the server couldnt handle it.
Uggsy, its not about competing because we cant farm all day in hopes of a zombie map. There is little competition in d3 with the hacks and inability to actually get a good grfit.
The problem is you reach a point where t6 feels like normal and higher grifts arent very fun. If there were a t10 or something we would have something to do, but were currently faced at doing things that arent fun because its the only challenge left. Not to mention the trials....Something we dont wanna do in order to do something we dont wanna do.
This wouldn't be so bad, but the hatred spenders are so disgustingly unbalanced. Shoot 3 CA and you're fully out of hatred. Multishot, you're lucky if you can get 5 off before you're all out of hatred. I would like this build if the costs of shooting were balanced, but they are not.

That's why you have generators, kridershot or hatred regen, etc... but i guess some of them will recieve a balance pass.
@Chadwx btw m8, reflect is a flat amount, no damage bonus is gonna make you take more dmg like it used to be.

We already do... It's not like you can just place the turret and eat everything. We still get raped by frozen/TS/arcane lasers and stuff. Don't get me wrong, I do think M6 was too strong but... Maybe they should actually adress some other issues instead of just nerfing DH across the board.
OT: IDK... I was hoping they'd atleast increase how much hatred we'd be generating (not through nightstalker), how many viable builds are there that don't use M6 and don't run prep-punishment and have a spender that doesn't have the "6 (or 7) hatred generated" rune... These nerfs/changes are just weird as fuck even aside from the mara ones. We're getting a set that increases damage based our discipline, all discipline regen skills are getting nerfed...?
It's still only the first datamine so we might so some more changes I guess/hope.

Also, with this change, TnT is no longer bis. We could see cloak of garwulf usage (for those who still want pet tank+buff), beckon sail for another extra life, cindercoat for fire junkies

Is not a legendary affix on one of the new belts because it might make Bastion's revered more useful but giving up on Pride of cassius (Or Chilanik's for speedruns) is just not going to work in anything serious (high gr). Pride is too good...
Also, the new Hydra changes make it look like you will be able to spawn more than just 1 hydra now... Maybe 2 by default and double that with serpent sparker making it 4 in total? I hope they just make it 5 or whatever.
I seem to recall a blue post saying they would never nerf M6 , just bring other classes to that level of awesomeness , Also , Our main philosophy is that you can never feel yourself weaker after a patch, than before .

That'd actually make sense, they were saying they wanted more weapon choices than furnace. With this change serpent sparker might become a decent choice aswell (although it'd still need more than just this I think).
If it's true though, i can see many people raging because blizz takes away a functionality from sentries and puts them on hydras? doesn't make much sense. So my logical assumption is that hydras will now behave kind of like sentries i.e having a few charges that you can place almost all at once and having the cd on the charges. 2 hydra charges + 2 more from serpent sparker makes sense. But still, that damage nerf is too extreme... i mean wtf? I guess they only want it to be viable with firebird? I guess it will be worth a try with a zdps wd in group... 4x hydras all applying the dot etc...
