i was useing mine for some time i think it is viable if you can reach the higher breakpoints then yer , for me i like to use what i like ,im not a big xbow fan tbh but alot of ppl faver useing them for the higher dmg range on them
I'm still using M6... AS matters to reach breakpoints, no?
But AS above or below a breakpoint is meaningless.
Which brings me to my major gripe: Why the hell are there breakpoints in the firstplace. We have the tech to handle non-breakpoint design. Use it already blizz.
Only viable 1h xbow is Calamity due to the special (stronger in party, less effective in solo), and needs to be rolled basically perfectly to be an option.

Whats so different from 1h to 2h xbows if they have basically the same damage? Considering i reach the 6th breakpoint with the first and 4th with the second, which are both good?

The base damage is more important than the breakpoints is why.

Breakpoints are good, but base damage is way better (not the huge dps number, but the min-max damage just below).
Calamity is the only option because the passive nets you 20% extra damage from automatic MfDD application, and even like this you'll see smaller hits compared to using a 2h xbow or a bow; anyway both the special and increased attack speed compensate, bringing the weapon near the level of other weapons combinations.
As i said, the Calamity special is even better in party because it's 20% free damage for everyone; anyway, any other 1h xbow just fall on the short hand and are basically underpar.
Interestingly, Nat Slayer + Nat Ring (dex/ias/chd/socklet) is actually very viable compared to Calamity + ias SoJ at 4.154 for group play where Unity isn't used. It's actually our highest DPS setup even assuming 100% Mark uptime by a small margin and taking in the loss of +30% elite (assuming a balance of trash/elite kill time). However, the Mark from Calamity buffs other party members too so I'd only us Nat set if your're duo and the only DPS, you don't have a good Calamity, or another DH is running Calamity (such as a 2dh, monk, wd party).

Is it viable? If i happen to find T&T, i could use natalya ring instead of armor, maybe?
