Today I want to make a quick video discussing some basic optimizations necessary to complete a decent level greater rift trial wave. While it's a lot easier to farm high keys with a group (perma-Serenity monk + 3 demon hunters), not everyone has that luxury. I believe the demon hunter is best suited for this solo due to having 5 sentries ready to go at the beginning of every wave.

In this video I go over the build, gear, paragon points, sentry placement, cooldown 'refreshing', and solo a trial. Enjoy!

Only if you keep your sentries far away, but yes I agree. I just forgot to swap out for this vid.

Correct. If you're a VERY good player and doing group runs, I could see it outshining Enforcer or Bane of the Powerful (so long as monk/lock doc can cc far away enough from sentry placement - but you'd basically be placing the sentries on top of yourself, putting you in harms way) and of course it's better for trial keys, but honestly if you want to maximize trials I think you're better off just using 2 gems and going for a dex/cc/cd/elemental ammy.

Zei is wonderful in 4 player GR. Just let a monk pulling everything, place your sentries far and do awesome damage. Alone is harder to work.
