-You and your immortal follower both have Unity equipped
-You take damage, which is split in half because of Unity
-One half is for you, the other half goes to your follower
-Your follower doesn't take that damage because he/she is immortal, so that damage he/she took from you being hit disappears
-Conclusion: you just took half the damage from a hit, and your follower didn't take any because he/she is immortal!

Currently using this nat's cause i just recently got it and wanted to know if it would be better then my older calamity that you can see here :

I decided to give the Nat a try mainly cause I already had my nat's Ring aswell, otherwise I was using this SoJ : .

My question is basicaly, wich one of these weapon (and or ring) would be the best to use currently for myself.


Edit : almost forgot, if it can mean anything, I have a Gift sitting in my bank that I could use on that second calamity, the thing is wether i should reroll the Vit on it to % damage or IAS :\

Barring ALL THAT, better gear, better gear, which simply gets harder and harder.

I watched that yesterday as well, and I've just been reading up more about breakpoints and generally what are the best spenders at the breakpoint I'm at. So I switched to a different Royal Ring I had with Crit Damage. Rolled for Crit Chance on my Lacuni bracers. Rolled Fire Damage on Amulet and that seemed to do the trick. Looks like I'm dealing more damage. I'm still playing around with changing between Custom Engineering and Steady Aim. Steady Aim looks like there's an increase in damage, but I'm not too sure if that's based on your characters distance between enemies or the Sentry.

I know I'm wasting IAS on my gear since I'm using a 1h xbow, but this is currently the best gear I have. I'm having a hard time removing the combo of my Traveler's Pledge and Compass Rose, that Vit and Crit Damage increase really helps me and nothing I have so far just matches up to that. Although I do switch out the Traveller's Pledge for Countess Julia's when running public GRIFTs.

But yeah I'll definitely keep grinding, especially for a Tasker and Theo that has DEX instead of INT KADALA PLEASE!!!!

I'm at Para 444 ish(?) and I've only seen two T&T's, one on my DH, other's on my WD which sadly hasn't got much love of late.
As to the steady Aim, I dropped ballistics last night and loaded it, at the urging of my son, and simply sitting in town paper damage went up. I had recently swapped skills to more of a cold based build and the only thing using Ballistics was CA. Then I switched to my Monk and never tried it in the field. But bear in mind, it says increases ALL damage 20%, so I'll be looking at it tonight.

Side note, I finally got a "passable" Hellfire amulet. It increased damage and toughness over my Kymbros, AND was already socketed. passive is Fleet footed(?). Which I had to look up, but hey, with the green stats I'll give it a try.

So I finally got a Tasker and Theo drop in a rift, not from KADALA. Just wondering what if any I should re-roll. Or should I just keep it as is in case I want to use it on another class. Tasker and Theo.

I also got an Etrayu drop. Wondering if this is worth gifting or not.

I'm currently using this Calamity.

I found this Etrayu http://imgur.com/zAq0ypR and am trying to decide what to do with it. It's being compared to the Danetta's I already wasted a gift on, but I still have two gifts so I'm not that worried about it.

I think I'd get more dps out of rerolling the base damage on the Etreyu, but I could probably craft a Unbound Bolts with better stats than the midline Etrayu I found. So, gift the Etreyu and reroll either base damage, %dam (or dex? Dont' think that'd be better), or wait until I have a better bow, possibly a crafted one?

I have two etrayus both w/ 10% bonus (both around 2600 dps & 16%cold), neither of them on a dps calc (even @ 2.84) beat my GOSU Buriza, mainly because I have to swap too much gear out to hit the breakpoint.

So what's next.. I want to hit 2.84 w/ the CB but that's crazy talk too.

I just don't knwo what's next..

I'm no hardcore player but I think you should look for a new Rucksack, try to get one with 20% IAS and 10% Crit Otherwise I think your gear looks pretty stable

That bow is amazing, yes, roll the IAS -> %10 and gift, you wont find anything better until a perfect Etrayu (20%/2750+dps), most people don't understand this but it's the truth.

Hi! DH noob here. Just putting together my first season DH. I've already read some guides and I'm not all lost.

Question:
For standard M6 cold/fire build (party play), would it wise to mix 2 pieces with %cold and 1 piece with %fire since you also use fire skills (SoJ, bracers and amulet (is amu with dex+cc+chd+socket better))? Or is going all cold better?

Currently sitting at Grift 30-32, Im also planning on re-rolling rucksack CDR to +%Elite Damage or a socket but currently lack the funds.

• What should I be focusing on upgrading now?
• What rerolls did I fuck up?
• Is the natalya's 2 set (xbow + ring) worth droping etrayu + another bis ring?
• Should I get some more toughness?

Hi everyone... I have recently made a full switch from Barb as my main to DH. Without knowing all the little details, I have slowly built up a cold rocket build that has done better than my barbs ever could, but I have hit a wall. I can only clear grift 31 (and got through 32 once with a great roll of skeletons and density) but get crushed on 33. Heres what I have so far and anxiously await finally finding that Krider and the PTR updates to go live.

In my stash I also have a hellfire ammy with ballistics, but the roll isnt as good as this blackthorns. I ran it for a while, but this blackthorns just has more damage output. Maybe I wasnt using the right skill to replace ballistics? I have a 2nd Etrayu waiting for a gift to socket, it's slightly better than this one, but only slightly. I also have a Calamity that has a little lower damage output and toyed with using that as well once the PTR goes live.

If you see something missing in gear (like WH belt or TnT) its because I dont have it yet. I have M6 pants available, along with Magefist, but again the roll on my M6 gloves feels pretty strong.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. (edited for formatting)

i played 3k hours and i've seen 3 WH's so your best bet is to buy only belts from kadala and play alot.

I just want to make sure you know PTR characters do not roll into your live account. When PTR is closed, those characters and gear are gone. I just say this because your post makes it sound like you are waiting for the end of PTR to use it, which kind of implies the gear is on your PTR character.
