Does the 15% attack speed bonus from dual wielding (that is not shown on char sheet) affect sentry breakpoints?

EDIT: On second look, it appears that the 15% AS buff does show in char sheet now, so should affect it.

Thank you for letting me join this forum. I basically needed a place that was a little more reliable than the battle.net forums. Every time I asked a genuine question I needed answered quickly, I would never hear anything back, or get hated on. It felt like I was blacklisted

I don't understand a lot of the abbreviations, or math that well, so calculating where to put paragon points is always a pain, I was a child of the auction house due to my 8- hours of work a day and limited to 1 or 2 hours a night, so buying stuff was easy, now I can't do that, and even though I have aspergers and love routine, doing the nightly grind to farm stuff gets annoying.

 

Could anyone please look at my profile and please let me know what I could improve on. I am looking for more DPS, I am confused about how much attack speed I really need, I have been told to get a tasker and theo but I would have to sacrifice my marauder gloves and would hate to do that because I need the M6 build to survive higher torment levels and not die as often. 

 

Kadala gives me the shits and I struggle to farm horadric caches only to find nothing. It took ages to find my ring of royal grandeur. And I have no idea what kind of bow is good

 

And if I find an item, and if it's all green, I take it (green at the bottom in damage, toughness and healing) all positive, there are so many times I still feel like a noob and I have been playing so long

I was lucky to find a good (at least in my opinion?) Maximus, as it has more or less let me tear through anything T1-3. I am now farming the last of the Akkhan set (going for boots for now) and am wondering where I should go with this. I was aiming for the Akkhan set as it seems to fit with other builds that focus on things like elemental dmg and the such, so its flexible. It would also appear that I have "fallen" into some kind of half assed fire dmg build, mainly focused around Maximus and kind of clustering enemies in the chain. Otherwise I've mainly been just getting Crit dmg/chance up to boost that chain dmg higher and higher.

So my question(s) is mainly: is a fire build viable for crusaders, and if not what should I be aiming for? Also if you could throw me some item names that synergize with this build-set (mainly things like bracers, belt, or shield since those slots are kind of "generic" legendry's for me still).

Also, what Legendary Gems should I be using? I have the Poison AoE dmg one in my neck atm but considering I don't do much in terms of poison dmg, should I be using another?

IF you have an RoRG and 6 piecces of Mara's toplay with most go for the pet/sentry speed buff from Tasker and Theo's instead of extra wolves. Some also opt for magefists or cindercoat for fire buffs instead. But make no mistake, the sentry damage is king on a 6 piece st up, or 5 with RoRG.
If you are rocking 4 pieces of Mara's and you can incorporate Garwulf's, by all means do so. It IS a noticeable increase in tanking ability until you get more pieces. When you get that 6 piece bonus, it's only prefeerable if you find it more fun.
Edit: Forgot Frostburns I guess now viable as well for off piece.

I need some advise on my seasonal DH. Even though I have 6 Mara, 3 Nats (with RoRG) it feels like I should be doing better.

Thanks for the advise. That seems to have helped. The sentries are critting for up to 20mil now. I'll have to find a better amulet and obviously optimize the gear a bit.

One more question.

I just found a Kridershot (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Rumburac-1967/hero/51717513)

Should I be using it or the Hellrack (same DPS ~1770, 1.17 speed)? Sheet dps is about 50k higher with Hellrack.

I ran a single test with each on Ghom and the Hellrack seemed to finish him faster by 3 seconds.

Hey guys can anyone help me? I just came back RoS after a long time and my DH has the stats of 500k dmg, 4.1m toughness and I'm right now running rifts on T1 in rifts but I can't seem to figure out how to get better legendaries or the marauder set at all.

Any tips or recommendations on farming?

Also any tips or recommendations on a build that does not rely on the marauder set?

Hi everyone. I'm running a Season 1 DH, with Marauders 6 set, Etrayu and the Rucksack.

Is there anything I could do to improve upon my DH or do I just need to hope for better rolled gear? Currently can barely get past Rank 26 of Greater Rifts (mostly because of deaths, not because of damage... curse Jailers).

I don't see the point in replacing Rucksack when it's my BiS (I could just attempt to reroll to Sentry Damage rather than Vitality). Rerolling my Tasker and Theo to Crit Chance probably would be be better than high Crit Damage, so I'll try that.

I assume Awareness you'd recommend because of the survivability, rather than Archery for the damage. Though my damage is a bit low (I think anyway) to make that a bad decision (unless getting more Sentry Damage and Crit Chance on my gloves alleviates that?).

ItzCjayy, apart from farming for tasker and theo gloves and witching hour (good luck), here are some suggestions:

- If you did not reroll rings, try to take movementspeed (compas rose) and life per hit (rorg) off for crit chance and damage. If you did reroll, try to get better dps rings.

- Missing socket on amu, huge dps drop (even with the set bonus of your current amulet).

- Bracers are... bad. Try to get elemental damage%, dex, vit, crit chance.

- Maybe by accident, but if i calculate your attackspeed it is 1.76, really close to the 1.74 breakpoint. I would try to aim for a higher one, but good job hitting your breakpoint (i hope you don't have attackspeed in paragon, if you do, drop it).

- Try to only buff sentries (chest, shoulder, quiver) and elemental/cluster arrow (helm, boots).

- Not sure about impale, did not do a lot of tests myself, but elemental arrow seems to be better.

- As far as I can see, you have no way to proc cull the weak passive. Maybe you play in groups, else try to replace it or add something to proc it (moving to a cold build maybe).

For the rest, keep upgrading your items. Tasker and wh if you can find them, Kridershot or etrayu as weapon maybe.

If you haven't, read into breakpoints, what they are, what they do, how to calculate, ...
