I can't figure out what's wrong with my build...I don't have a unity for the moment and I can't push past GR35...
I'm constantly running out of hatred
your gear looks good for the most part, assuming you're playing correctly (ie. keeping a keen eye out for orbs / using Preparation/Companion), i would:
-roll Sentry% higher on shoulders
-reroll dexterity to physical% on neck
-reroll vitality/life% to Sentry% on chest
-reroll dexterity to cc/cd (whichever one you're lacking to hit a 1:10 cc:cd ratio) on SoJ
-reroll lph to cc/cd (whichever one you're lacking to hit a 1:10 cc:cd ratio) on RoRG
*-reroll vitality to Sentry% on quiver, though this is quite a chunk of vitality, so i'd play around with it keeping above 8M toughness, even possibly consider using a life% gem instead to maintain the toughness
-last but not least, if you can afford it, upgrade the gems on your chest/legs and make sure you're putting pl points in rcr
Unity's aren't as important for us because we can take advantage of Sentry's shooting offscreen, etc. and just go yolo-dps

I already had to reroll sockets on all of my rings/amulet; are you suggesting to reroll the socket for CC/CD/Phys% ?

oh, odd, it doesn't show that the os on the neck is from a reroll haha, naw, keep it that way
Hey there! I recently just got my full set on my demonhunter aswell as Focus and Restraint, But for some reason I hit for like 100m, while I see streamers hit for 2 billion. http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Fypen-2991/hero/58453019 Please take a look and give me some tips
i'm not super knowledgeable on the EA:BL build, but i think you want MS:Arsenal with CtW passive somewhere, as well as using Sentry:PS to proc BotT/CtW
also, sup with the strength Restaint:(, need some cd on that
btw, thanks for reminding me that chests can roll disc
thank you for your answer. can you also explain to me why? I want to know how to calculate what's better.
sorry, i don't have any math right now to back it up:(, but all i know is that we're at the point in gear where all other stats synergize better than min/max
back then when we were doing mere 400-500k's, the value of min/max was a lot higher
I'm currently running the Nat's 6pc set and really like the spec. It does a ton of damage (over 1billion hits), however, I'm finding surviving very difficult. The max GR I have been able to solo is 39 with this build mainly because of dying so much and losing time. I have 18mil toughness with 1197AR. Could someone please look at my character and give some pointers?
1.) Since we are using Focus/Restraint for this build, that puts Unity out of the line-up. Is 50% damage worth sacrificing 50% reduced damage taken?
2.) I am still working on getting all ancient pieces with better itemized stats. I feel as though I should be able to solo at least a GR45 though. Is it a matter of just getting that perfect rift, or am I doing something wrong? I do not have resource cost problems at all and actually rarely go below 50% hatred.
3.) Taking this build from AoD's thread, I did change some things to tailor it to my play style. Should I stick strictly to his setup and try to adapt or are the changes I made ok? AoD's thread is AoD's Nat Solo GR 54+
4.) Is the Templar still the best follower to have for solo play? Any suggestions of using another follower? Maybe one with more CC?
Thank you so very much in advance for any help/assistance you can provide.
I'm running the Nat's 6pc Cold build now for the 2sec Freeze CC, which helps a ton with surviving. I finally completed a GR42 solo. I am confused about a few things though. I have 3 potential Crossbows.
I need the Nat's Slayer for the 6pc. Should I use it with Calamity, which has less damage than Danetta's but has the Mark for Death affix. Or should I use Danetta's, which has a lot more damage on it.
It is my understanding that all your spells and abilities are based on your weapon damage, which means the higher the MH weapon damage, the more your abilities hit for. If that's the case, Danetta's would be the obvious choice, but then I lose the Marked for Death affix from Calamity. Which one would be better?
Also, if your abilities are based off weapon damage, why not use the red +270 damage gem in the MH? Everyone I see puts a green +130% CHD gem in their MH. Why is this? If I did use a green gem in both weapons, my CHD would be a lot higher than my CHC. I thought I was supposed to keep that at a 1:10 ratio.
In my opinion, I would put a gift on the Nat's bow with 3,039.5 damage, reroll the Vit into 10%CDR, and use it in your MH. Then use the Balefire Caster with 2,936.8 damage in your OH and put a gift on it. Use a green gem in both. You will have a ton of CHD, but then you can roll CHD off your rings and Hands and put CDR on those. The reason for the Nat's in the MH is because you want the most damaging weapon in your MH, since that is what determines your ROV damage. The reason I would use the Balefire Caster is because you get 4% more Fire Damage, more Dex as a stat stick over the other Balefire Caster showing.
Hi guys!
I'm just trying to set up a decent Natalya build, after a lot of unlucky drops I found the 1Hs in the picture:
What combination is the best? (I am tempted for the two on top, consider that I can socket with a gift)
You have already rolled the CDR on the non-ancient Nat's so you can't get 10% damage on it. 2268 damage compared to 3039 damage is a fairly large difference. You will see much more benefit from the Ancient Nat's cause you will not make the damage up with just 4% RoV damage.
For Nats, of course, do you suppose I should just roll for 5% chance to freeze on this bad boy? Or is that not really worth anything and I should get the extra 30 dex?
Hey guys, I've been playing DH this season and I need some help.
I've run UE at the beginning because I got a Kridershot, but as I haven't found an Ancient one yet, I've been trying N6.
I run N6 mostly on T6 and low 30s GR, but I'd like to run higher GRs now. The weapons I've been using are the first two in the image below: non-ancient Nat's Slayer and non-ancient K'mar Tenclip. I found an ancient Nat's Slayer and an Ancient Calamity and rerolled them to 10CDR. I only have one gift (2nd this season). What should I do? Use the gift on Calamity and reroll 10CDR on Nat to socket while I don't have another gift? I'm concerned about my toughness (8.7 million with 3 emeralds and 2 diamonds and new weapons). Is it normal for a N6 build? Thanks!

Calamity - 2,563.7 dps, 991-1221 holy damage, 702 Dex, 5% as, 10% CDR (rerolled)
Nat's Slayer - 3350.2 dps, 968-1210 Cold Damage, 10% Damage (rerolled), 645 Dex, 7% as, 25% RoV damage, with +270 Damage gem
Danetta's Revenge (Ancient) - 3655.5 dps, 1239-1535 Cold Damage, 10% Damage, 848 Dex, 937 Vit, with +270 Damage gem

Edit: Could anyone provide some information on this? Would really like to know.
Im fairly new to DH so im sorry if this has been answered already. Does anybody know what element the beast hit for on the crashing rain belt?
Hi Guys, Plz help me out here XD
