1) a dual wield set up will cost you much more gold to fund than a 2handed set up.
2) find 2 1 handers with a socket + crit damage and as much dps as you can afford.
3) Stick an emerald of the highest quality you can afford in each.
4) again, this will not be cheap.
Your crit chance and damage seem to support a 1 hand or bow set up pretty well. Just do what lucidity advised and also keep in mind you'll have to sustain longer because you won't have as much burst. That means you may need more disc than you did before or may need to change up some skills. Good luck. I went 4pc nats with the xbow as my offhand. Its alot less damage but the disc regen is insane. Probably would be to much of a drop in dps for you though. Im just farming act1 and 2 til I can get the ring.
Am thinking of switching to a dual wield build. any advice on how i can maintain my dps, what should i look for in a 1H xbow etc...
You won't be able to maintain your current DPS if you'll switch to 1handers of the same quality as your 2hander. So it all boils down to why you want to DW in the first place. As I see it, "DW vs 2h + quiver" means "more utility vs raw damage" as DW'ing generally lets you have more disc and more disc regen (from crits) and simplifies kiting thanks to high base attack speed. That's why I've chosen it. However, if you've got used to big numbers, you probably will be disappointed after the switch.
