Hi ive been haveing troubles trying to farm Rare packs to get gold and obviously gear.. their are rarely any rare packs i can actually kill and about none i can kill without dieing.. i have 97k Dps(ss) and 40k without , 260k Crit Dmg , Duel Wielding.. i have 800k gold atm and spend 500k gold on repairs in 1 day.. (the day of the patch).. please help i have no idea what else to do to be able to farm... i use Smoke Screen , Caltrops , Preparation , and Marked for Death -- Hungering Arrow / Rapid Fire (High Velocity) i tryed useing Ele arrow with the lightning rune because of the nerf to Tentacles but found rapid fire to be better with duel wielding.
Evasive Fire isn't needed. Act 1 should be a walk in the park. Act 2 at least used to give everyone issues, haven't tried it since.
With the changes to drops in regards to bosses/elites/champions, I'd say you should be okay clearing through the beginning of act 3 up to soul rippers. At least until repair costs are hopefully halved. (overkill)
You've GOT to be trolling.... I have... hmmm maybe 1/3 the DPS at every level - I can do A1 Butcher runs till I turn blue with maybe a death an hour. I can even do A2 Mahgda picking up 2 or 3 Neph Valor buffs before getting there.
Now maybe you cant farm the end of A4 but theres very little reason to be banging your head into that wall when you should be able to breeze A2 with the only trade off being about 1/2 as many ilvl 63 items.

It is definitely harder. My Azmodan run is going okay. I ran with frost arrow/spiked trap and it was mostly okay, but sucked for the Cydea fight. I am just missing the burst and AOE for spiders. I am sticking with my slow 2H and hungering arrow/impale/multishot for now. I dropped raining vengeance. I actually had to kill Azmodan through a whole blood pool and laser beam (just SS after the pool stops expanding and keep being mobile) which is twice as long as killing by the 3rd or 4th pool with old NT.
After patch trying new specs I died a bit more than I liked. Act I is still a joke, and Act III/IV is trial and error. Getting more comfortable with the crazy burst from impale, and general stragedy with running through elite pacts with SS/tactical advantage and kiting in circles since I dropped RV for another offensive ability. I just hate how if you don't hit a mob for like 5 seconds it can reset to full health. Dumbest addition to the game. They should in fact make it so they don't reset at all, or after like 20 seconds.
55k hp, 17k dmg, 300 all resists (200 resists when I run my 186% magic find gear).
Repair costs make glass-cannon less effective, flat-out. Sidenote: rapid fire makes No sense for a glass cannon, as you can't afford to take any hits...

Im doing act1 full MF/GF geared 50k dps and almost noone can reach me. Ofc im expirenced in act3 as well farming it.
