You kidding? Unless others outgear you and you get carried being in a group is usually a burden in this game with how the scaling works. The difficulity doesn't scale linearly. Two manning something is generally much harder than soloing it since it doesn't just bump up the difficulty, but actually increases it above that.
What I meant though is that someone with 40k+ DPS can easily solo this place really fast in comparison to a group with equal or even slightly better gear. Diablo 3 doesn't promote playing in a group at all, there's no benefit at all except playing with others. The loot isn't better, it's unnecessarily harder. If you want someone for the fun aspect, sure, but for the practical aspect there's no benefit. For a Demon Hunter at least.
EDIT: I'd much rather have a Scoundrel and easy stuff than a fellow equal geared player and linearly more difficult mobs.
EDIT2: D3 isn't an MMO. It's mainly a single player dungeon crawler with some added in Multiplayer aspect poorly made.
Except, a well synergized group can kill things just as fast, or faster, while dying less. Get 4x the amount of loot in the same or shorter time, and dying is less damaging in a group than while solo.

No, you get 4 times the amount of loot divided between 4 players, so each player in the end gets the same amount of loot, you might have a bigger chance of getting a item you want if you've got a friend in the group, but that just means he gave you some of his items. The amount of drops doesn't change. I've yet to find a group to be beneficial in any way what so ever to me. A well synced group will definitely do well, but I seriously doubt they'd perform better due to, as said earlier, how the scaling works and how stupidly easy it is to farm pony land (and Act 4) as a Demon Hunter anyway.
Do note that I'm talking solely from a Demon Hunter perspective. I do not know all too much about other classes' solo capabilities in these areas except that I can imagine melee classes being forced to group up which is yet another poor design choice by Blizzard.
pretty those teleport/jailor/mortar/damage reflect is easy for a DH solo right?

There is actually a tree that makes the unicorn mobs stuck. making it quite easy.
as someone who solo's clears inferno whimsy, why would i want to make it exponentially harder by adding more people?
there isn't an increased reward so there really isn't any point afaik.
takes me 30-40min to get 5 stacks and full clear whimsy, for reference vs a4 farming aspects.
people who talk about farming act 4 thinking it has better loot (than act 3) are making me mad
Oh, so in what logic of yours does Act 3 have better loot? The loot spans over more than just one act. Act 3 could for example have loot ranging from Hell act 4 to Inferno Act 4. Act 4 Inferno pretty much get rids of the non-level 60 gear which, while not better loot than act 3, certainly gives you MORE of the better drops compared to act 3. Besides, farming that place that was featured on the front page wasn't really that efficient at all.
quoting this post for future, it seems you adapted to what i told you before you reported me
i hope everyone else is looking towards siegebreaker runs right now/more than one more person in party means the runs take at least 4x longer than they should
add orangechicke#1780 if you want in

#1: The tree makes 70% of that zone a complete joke with half decent rare rolls. extra health/reflect makes any one of us cry.
#2: Bofeity: did you play swtor? More specifically, play swtor on Helm of Graush?
