Alright, im not really well geared or anything special, im fairly fresh 60 with a mediocre 2h xbow and a decent quiver. I crit like 50k or something on nether tent and around 100k on spike trap (still testing skills for personal preference).
My largest fears when I see elites are..
Fast
Vortex
Invul Minions
Reflect Damage
The two that I run into the most issues with are Invul and Reflect funny enough. I hit hard but cant steal or onhit enough HP back to counter-act the damage from it. Potions dont do enough....How do people deal with this?
Invul Minions the main problem is when using trap they trip em before the non-invul boss does
Vortex/Fast are kinda no brainers, they get close easy.
Any feedback would be nice
And I do apologize if this is posted a lot but I did try looking and found nothing.
Edit: also, what companion do people prefer? I can see all 3 working decently well for their own reasons.
Positioning. Try to put something in between you and the mob, that way when they try to pull you in, you hit the divider and stop. Allowing you to not use up your precious Discipline so quickly. The divider can be numerous things, a large hole (yay for invisible walls), an actual wall or debris. There is a lot of clutter you can use. Often Nether tentacles can go through it, or you can shoot around it with Hungering arrow.
Ya, Reflect Damage seems to be the worst for me atm, the others are just annoying as long as im on top of my game and have the discipline for SS when needed. Worst thing is when the mob gets like Ref/Vortex/Tele/Fast or even mortar/horde/fast/ref can be painful.
And not companion skill but like scound/enchant/templar companions

But to add on the subject of Vortex.
