Would anyone mind helping me with this? I'm so terrible with planning builds and such, it's almost embarrassing. I've fiddled with the build calculator a little and this is what i came up with, but I'm sure I've got things in there that won't be viable for Normal mode, let alone Inferno! My aim was maybe to generally up the attack speed and maneuverability, but let's see where I've gone wrong. All criticism allowed, whether it be constructive or ego crushingly blunt.
Yeah, I was tossing up between chain gang and heavy burden and went with the latter because - since the effect lasts for 2 seconds on the original skill, and I won't be able to chain together 6 targets in that time anyway, it'd be useless? But maybe it works differently to how I perceive it or something, I dunno.
Also with the passives I kind of agree, I love the idea of the normal attack turning into a hatred generator and at the same time dealing 200% weapon damage so I think I'll keep that, I'll change Custom Engineering for Steady Aim because..... well now that I'm looking at it why would I need an extra 30 seconds on marked for death when I can easily just cast it again when it wears off? And with Archery I was hesitant because from what I've seen people are mainly using hand crossbows which only receive the 5% chance to crit. But like people keep saying it's still only the beta, and if bows/xbows/hand xbows are fairly evenly balanced then of course I'll use Archery. Btw thanks for the post bmiha.
EDIT: Just saw your post straightup I've ditched the strafe - rockets idea, I thought you were able to choose the target yourself as you slowly walk backwards or something but that doesn't look to be so. With Fundamentals, I just can't seem to take it out. It looks like there's value in it because the other hatred generators don't have 200% damage with that much attack speed. I guess the question would be is it worth using a passive on something like that when there are others that might be just as or more useful. I don't have the power of foresight so I guess we'll wait and see .
Fan of knives just appealed to me as an AoE because of the massive amount of damage it did, then on top of that the rune effect adds 100% with an extra 8 yards? If that's a mistake/placeholder then correct me but it seems mighty OP to me. For an escape skill I did have Evasive Fire - Parting gift, I don't really know why I changed it.
Battlescars - I'm a mess when it comes to pressure filled situations, this looks like it fits my playstyle pretty well haha!
For Entangling Shot, are you saying that the joined enemies take exactly the same amount of damage, each?
I'm not the best to stipulate on potential builds so I won't say anything about yours but I did always like the look of Brooding and vault, I just couldn't seem to work them into mine Thanks for the post straightup
But isn't there a timer on the chain effect of entangling shot, 2 seconds?
EDIT: Oh, you're saying you don't have to manually chain the targets together by shooting each individually, that's done manually after the first shot. I thought I saw different in one of the official class vids, guess I saw wrong though
