Hey guys so im not sure if its my play style or lack of understanding, Ive only started playing a week or two ago so forgive any noob mistakes i have made
but i cant seem to push any higher than 68-70 GR as i just get 1 shot by any passing projectile, i cant imagine we have to dodge every single thing that moves or does damage to play the class so a gear check would be gratefully accepted, Profile listed below!
First off you have to remember that you are a ranged character, and therefor you will have to dodge basicly anything yes
Once you reach GR70+ mobs tend to hit hard, and the thoughness of a DH is defo not as high as it could be (Unless you build and spec for it), as a UE Multishot DH, you are in the category of avoiding stuff.
That being said, there are some things you can do to increase your thoughness, AR is very helpfull, and should be found on all the items that are ment to be your defensive ones, so Feet, Legs, Chest, some even go Shoulders and Wrist to..
Another thing, is you can drop the Cindercoat you have in your cube and add a Visage of Gunes instead, that will help ALOT also.
Other than that, getting all ancient with higher base stats, argumenting is your only options.
The problem is that you went for the "glass canon option" on all possible choices. This is what people use for pushing, when they "fish" for good rifts (with mobs that are less threatening) or just try to dodge everything, yes. In the beginning, just to get the hang of it, there are many ways to increase your toughness.
Gems: This is the most obvious one. You have very little resistances on a DH, so switching to diamonds (instead of emerals) in chest+pants will give you a great toughness boost for a relatively small damage loss.
Belt: Witching Hour is a really glass canon item, and with 34% CHD yours isn't perfectly rolled either. I strongly suggest to use something like String of Ears until you don't die all the time.
Bracers: You have all resist instead of vitality on bracers. The problem is that you have life% on your chest, but life% only makes sense if you have a decent health pool, and for that you should get vitality on every possible slot; including bracers.
Boots: Your boots are ancient and look decent, but they lack all resist, which makes you more squishy.
Legendary gems: This is sort of a last resort choice, but instead of the Bane of the Powerful you can always take a defensive gem (Molten Wildebeest is great in the beginning, or Esoteric Alteration). Although in the end you want to use Stricken once you get past 75+.
It's a huuuuuuuge damage loss, but as a very last resort you can always use Unity for a bit until you die less.
Basically, you went all-in for the glass canon, no defensive build. Unless you have Wudijo-like reflexes or perfectly rolled gear, that's always going to cost you at some point. Practice with more defensive choices, then slowly transition from defense to offense.
Along with the other things folks have said, you should be in a good position to start augmenting your gear (cube recipe). Everything ancient needs to be augmented with 60+ rank gems (doesn't seem like it would make a big difference but it does).
Get a good/excellent hellfire (your amulet's stats are nice, but use an ammy that does something- immunity ammys are also pretty good), max discipline on your chest and quiver.
String of ears belt will get you 30% melee dmg red. Also be aware that you can use visage of gunes in the cube for 50% dmg reduction... cindercoat is great but if you can run without it then try using visage of gunes in the cube with witching hour. That will almost surely get you to GR75 or so. Play around with those options to see what suits you most.
You MUST properly outfit your follower with a lightning dmg wep (something nice you've saved and just roll lightning dmg on it), invincible follower token, wyrdward, and OCULUS ring (just adding that ring to your follower will get you several grift levels).
You could run dex. MS %, CC, socket on your helm to max out your multishot dmg.
Not to discount anything else said (all valid suggestions in the other comments), but try all that before you change from emeralds to diamonds in your armor. Good luck.
