I have 2 GG Ancient Deadmans (both have +12 disc and +15 Multi rolled)
The original has 18 AS 10 CC 60% Hits Twice and has Dex and +1.4 Hatred regen.
The second has 20 AS 10 CC 55% Hits Twice and has Dex and Vit.
I'm running the latter because I'm somewhat starved for Vit and it gets me over 4K. I could look for vit on gloves or helm, however the gloves and helm I have at the moment both have almost unbeatable rolls (gloves are 995 dex 10/50 and 7 AS, Helm is 1000 dex rolled, 6 CC and +15 Multi).
Anyway, while I prefer the Vit over Hatred Regen, it is not clear to me how significant the 5% difference on the legendary affix is, in terms of damage loss. At the moment though, I just can't turn down the extra vit.

How do you even play this game with 4.000 Health? (o.O)
Have you ever died from a town vendor stepping on your toes? lol, I mean even Orek's ghost can kill you in two consecutive stepping toes 'attacks'. Because we all know:
Stepping Toes
"Deal 4000 Physical Damage to the first enemy's toes you step on."
Rune #1: "If you are a ghost, you instead do 2000 Cold Damage with each hit. Hey, but at least you slow them down to do at least another 2000!"

Thoughts?
Let's say it takes 100 seconds to take down "x" boss;
With 60% DML it will take 70 seconds
With 55% DML it will take 72.5 seconds.
This is just a simplified math to give you an idea, ofc a real simulation would take many more variables into account and that 2.5 seconds would turn into 2.4730005 or smt
In other words, you might feel the difference in longer fights. You could reserve the 60% version for group play and the other for solo..
The simplified math above ignores hatred generation. You will need to generate a lot less during extended fights. For seasonal play you have to consider bane of the stricken.
Stricken is an exponential buff so if you can kick in the doubling earlier, the damage acceleration begins to climb earlier.
Thanks for the feedback guys. As well as the DML I also changed my shoulders by dropping RCR and going with AD, as the latest patch apparently fixed it (although I don't know exactly what they fixed or if it is now fully working as intended). So I've been running without the + Hatred Regen from the old quiver and without the 8%RCR on shoulders.
I was of the opinion that with Cindercoat cubed it was probably ok to prioritise VIT over regen and AD over RCR however I will say I'm noticing the difference and have to manage my resources alot more carefully. I probably need more playtime before I can make an informed decision about whether I should stay with my latest changes or revert back, notwithstanding the 5% loss on the DML. I am for sure appreciating the extra Vit but the fact is I'm still pretty squishy. I'm thinking that for it to make a real difference I might need to (for example) chase some ancient gloves with +vit on them as well. That, and amethest in helm, and +life on belt and then I probably would notice a real difference. Jury is still out.
my silly math only takes DML affix and time into account to have a rough idea about its affect, that is why I called it simplified. Let's not go crazy
Yeah, I appreciated the approximation you did as it helped bring some context into how much I was losing by giving me a basic ballpark. I have not been able to feel the or observe the 5% loss in gameplay, and I'm not surprised.

I can't tell you precisely how much damage you're losing going with the 55 besides the fact that it is half as good haha
From my experience, as long as you have Yang's and a cubed coat or armor piece with rcr of any sort, you don't need anymore rcr or ihr in this case
I'd go with the vit one, besides it has more ias:D
The best setup is use the vit on this slot and get ad in other slots like gloves/shoulders
