So i've been practicing all possible DH builds and im holding ancient items that fair pretty well.
I only got 1 problam. I really REALLY REALLY hate Natalaya gameplay. I'm either bad at it or just terrible with the keyboard, either way i can't get into high grifts due to my gameplay with it.
On the other hand, Multishot is stupidely easy and i manage to crit up to 2b with the current Manticore i have, with plenty of room to improve.
My question is this: Is there anyone here who manage to get into high grifts with it? If so, what gear you use and what items i should look for.
Kridershot btw also seems okay to me but i didnt find any ancient bow yet for it to try it out.
P.S - i should mention i got a big-ass bet with my friend who reach higher on grift ladder by end of season so please share your knowledge if you can. My aim is to reach as high as possible(but not stupidely high like GR61 or stuff like that).
I can beat GR55 with my multishot fire build, I used Windforce and strongarms. You don't need Kridershot for a stong multishot build, you can do pretty well without it. I think a well rolled anceint Calamity would be the best weapon but bows (Odysseys; Windforce etc) work well too.
ps. some people also have great success with the two handed cross bows, eg force craft an Arcane Barb with great stats and you are good to go. Personally I just don't enjoy the slow attack speed.
Your gear is pretty good. Kind of surprised that you don't have an Ancient Helm. Oh, well, keep gambling, just make sure you get MS and CHC on it. I would go with Iceblink over BotP. You'll get more procs on BotT. Also Steady Aim is good, but Cull the Weak is better. I'm not sure about using MfD Mortal Enemy. I would either go with contagion or use a more reliable way to get hatred up. Could be wrong there. I see you've got a solid Haunt of Vaxo, so I'm not sure how your clones are are spreading MfD. If you aren't spending any Discipline, it's probably a good choice. You can get away with Wolf companion in groups, but bat in Solo is better considering you can't use Preparation Punishment. I would roll RCR onto you Restraint. At Paragon 600, you will get better value from more Spending than the slight buff from the Dex of a Ring. There is also no reason not to have Ancient Bracers since you can craft them. But, you will need a lot of Arcane Dust for that. They are 72 AD to craft. So to get a decent one expect to craft maybe 30 sets, so you will need close to 2500 dust.
Don't forget when you make your final push, swap out your Helm Ruby for a purple stone.
Currently at GR50 with Windforce and Strongarms combo (para 500) and working my way up. First season playing a DH so learning as I go and really enjoying it. I am running wolf with vengeance seethe as I love the combo to burst down elite packs quickly.
My gear is far from optimal, so still plenty to come. I would love to get my hands on a Balefire or Calamity to test out, but so far not had a single calamity drop and only 1 poorly rolled non-ancient Balefire, such is RNG life...
Seems to fizzle around 50, unless you fish 100 and get the zombie rift. I like iceblink over bane of the powerful when solo.
You may wanna get a new weapon too, 2h bows arent very good anymore. Its seems the damage is normailized to dps now instead of wep damage. My crits dont change alot whether its a 1h xbow, bow or 2h.
I personally prefer a cluckeye for the crowd control
If you're talking about solo, I'd say the realistic top end of multishot is 55 unless you fish really hard. You have to go nats if you want to be competitive.
For group play, its just nowhere near enough effective dps for high end stuff.
