well.. i got a well rolled ancient buriza ( 3123 dps + proyectiles pierces 2 adittional times + 9% frezee on hit + 8%CDR) and im using HUNGERING ARROW (devouring arrow rune 70% more damage each pierce) instead EVASIVE FIRE cause i saw hungering arrow doing more damage and triggering so fast the charges of gogok rune gem (cause each pierces trigger 1 charge more)

DPS doesn't matter, what does is the avg damage under DPS. I wouldn't say you're doing the wrong thing but you want an ancient etrauy/ancient kridershot which will be THE weapons you want. Best gems for cold DH are: Bane of the Trapped, Bane of the Powerful and Zei's.
I thought the Enforcer gem did more to help with dps than PotT does.
The Enforcer gem never helped more than the BotT, but it did help more than BotP. It had to do with BotT being a separate multiplicative modifier, and now Enforcer really doesn't help much because most the dps is coming from the dh, not the sentries anymore. So, if you wanted to try a different gem in the mix, switch out BotP before either BotT or Zei's since those 2 help dps more.
The distance from the sentries to the target and the distance from you to the target are separately calculated, so yes technically you do lose a little dps by having a sentry closer to the target, it is only that sentry's dps that is being affected. As long as you have polar station affecting them and BotT equipped, you come out ahead dmg-wise
I also tried a DA+Buriza setup, but in the end, it doesn't matter much because you're aiaming to shoot the less possible generators and most CA possible by stacking CDR and RCR.
basically, using DA instead of EF you're reducing your damage because your turrets will shoot less CA and you'll get less advantage form Mara6. DA+Buriza is an incredible synergy (and i suppose it will be the way to go with the new generators set) but doesn't work well woth Mara6.
Generators are still pathetic although new MR6 buffs their damage.
EF/F with 7 hatred regen and ES/JiS with 6 hatred regen & some CC are the only ones viable regardless of build or elemental bonus.
I had tried them all out with depth diggers+simplicity gem+ generator damage on belts & pants, bolas quiver, HA quiver, etc. but sadly none is delivering decent damage to rely on..
As Truecoldkil said, it is possible to even drop them with enough RCR>CDR.
Try switching ballistics over Steady Aim (gain 20% dmg) and awareness for Night Stalker (more hatred generated). If you have low vit then use a violet gem (forgot the name) on the helm until you have a good vit stat on some of your gear (shoulders, gloves, bracers, belt, boots and pants).
I have to disagree with the statement that Enforcer doesn't help much. I agree that Enforcer helps less. So now most of the damage does come from the Demon Hunter, this true, but the split is closer to 60/40 as opposed to 90/10 in 2.1.1. You should have Sentry damage on your shoulders, because only traps and devices can be a rolled there. It's a much shorter list of options than a quiver, where almost all skills can roll. So I would state that this mandatory with M6. Enforcer will stack with this.
The fact is BoP loses effectiveness with higher Grift Tiers. After Tier 33 or so, you aren't going to take advantage of the Primary 20% buff all the time. If you get into a spot where more than 2 Elite packs attack you, there's no no way you're going to get enough DPS out to kill them under the BoP time limit. There could be 20 Billion Hit Points worth of monsters attacking you. The same can be said for GR Guardians, while not 10s of Billions, it is in the Billions. At that point Enforcer with over a 25% buff, it hands down beats the 10% elite buff with BoP. [The math: 25.5%*40% >10%, so leveling you Enforcer over the 25% is about where the break even point is against Elites.] You would need a Rank 200 gem or so for BoP to possibly regain it's advantage, maybe more because a Rank 200 Enforcer has an 85% buff at that point and the 60/40 split has now shifted back to the Sentries as the damage dealers.
