With a string of three lucky back to back drops (The Unrelenting Phalanx shield, the Eternal Union ring, and The Baleful Remnant) I went all out zoo build and can power all the way up to Grift 28th rather trivially. Now I'm at the point where i am swapping stuff around because i can seem to make it past 29. I really want my 30 conquest!
Depending on RNG mob density and layouts, i have completed 29. I've been trying to increase some extra toughness because i was getting killed by corpse runs. So I've swapped in the indestructable talent.
I'm also playing with my gems and swapped out my lvl 25 Pain Enhancer to a Bane of the Powerfull.
Possible gear upgrades would be:
Getting a Crown of Leoric and Hit the AC break-point to have it up at all times, or use a Gogok of The Swiftness.
But i would lose those marvellous boots that let me freely move through mobs and walls for better placement.
Same downside would happen if i get Lucky and find Theo and Tasker gloves.
On the skills side, now that i have activated my Bane of the trapped slow aura, i don't need to freeze using hammer spam as much, but it is very effective crowd control to gain number advantage. Falling sword is a great poor mans teleport and and the Rise Brothers gives me 3 dependant melee fighters against single targets.
Steed charge is a mobility boost (either as ramming speed or endurance), AC is up as much as i can keep it since i dont have 56% cdr. Bowmen are my main major dps: i have 8 up and following permanently.
Shield glare uncertainty is very effective at neutralizing groups of mobs with blindness and 8 sec charms (breaking fire chains and such), on single target guardians, i can only get the blind effect. I have tried the 20% added dmg rune, and just running with laws dps boost, but the uncertainty has proven to be more all round useful so far.
I'm at the point where all i feel i can hope for is a semi godly hellfire ammy roll, finally getting a CDR RoRG, getting a new eternal union with offensively useful mods, getting the Crown of Leoric, the T&T gloves (if they work with crusader minions), or a balefull remnant with far better damage mods and natural CDR that i can use a ramaldinini's gift on (which i do have in waiting). The Remnant I have i only finally rolled 9% dmd on yesterday while trying to find ways to eeek out extra dmg. The loss of the 9% cdr it had rolled previously was noticeable.
Any suggestion or tweaking advice would be greatly appreciated!
You have to be a bit more careful not to die without prophet but the damage is pretty good and tier 30 shouldn't be a problem for this build. You can change laws of justice to iron skin/steel skin and long arm of the law to indestructible if you prefer, in fact for Grifts that would probably be better. Good luck.
